Hello everybody. Thanks by advance for your tips ! I'm a Thunderbird user for decade. It has always worked fine on my Imac. But the last release Thunderbird 78.4 is very slow. Especially the scroll of the left menu with my (hundreds) mail folders. Can I fiw this ? On downgrade to a previous release without having to reinstall everything ? Many thanks. Gwen

I have seen some Mac users report slowness. I hope you can help us determine what is happening on your Mac.

Is it better if you start Thunderbird https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird ?

p.s. How big is your address book? Any calendars?

Hello Wayne, Your email arrived on trash folder, I've just seen it today. It's a bit better in Safe mode, but not so obvious. The lag is mainly while scrolling the left folders tree from my mails. I have something like 200 folders in. And 5000 contact in my address book. No calendars. But that was working perfectly in the previous release of Thunderbird. I've published my performance profile. Should I publish it here publicly ? Thanks for your advice.
