If you long press on the text you wish to select, you will be able to refine your selection and be given options to copy it.

I've been a web developer for 20 years. I'm not stupid!!!!!!!!!!!! I know how to use my phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIREFOX DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hold down (long press), I tap, I do everything I can to get the word to select....and then I switch to chrome and it works!!!!!

Imgraftedin update your Mozilla browser to the latest version and select text.

This has been a problem for YEARS. Updating my version is highly unlikely to fix it. Maybe if instead of a forum FireFox should have a REAL SUPPORT LINE moderated by THEIR SUPPORT REPS so they can actually fix problems!
