Whenever I install firefox onto a new computer I constantly am reminded of two things:

Search engines I have personally added like cppreference are not synchronized.

DuckDuckGo is not my default search engine and it defaults back to the factory default

This is a known limitation of sync at the moment. There's a bugreport to add more things to Firefox Sync. See: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1269548

If you think there's something missing in the list (see the "references" section on the bugreport) feel free to create a new bugreport specifically for what's missing.
