Old firefox data folder will not permanently delete.

I took my mac in and got a new SSD and had to reinstall all my programs. I installed firefox and this popped up and I can't get it to delete permanently. Everytime I open firefox it gets put back on my mac's desktop time and time again. I've tried moving it. Deleting it. Hiding it. But I click on firefox and it pops up again. I don't want to leave it on my desktop as I never had to before. Please help.

Go to about:profiles. Can you see your desktop directory anywhere on that page?

Just checked and no, there is nothing in the profiles folder in that directory.
