For about one month ago, YouTube HD videos (720p, 1080p) are not playing smooth on Nightly, regularly updated. Is there any solution? My machine is powered by Intel Core i5-4570, no graphic card. Thank you

After several Nightly updates, problem still exists. On Chrome, HD videos are smooth, but not on Nightly. Please help

This could be an issue with the VP9 codec; it often is extremely demanding of CPU resources. As a test, could you try with WebM blocked by this extension:
