
Inbox is showing duplicates for each message. How to stop this?

How would I know wether it is coming from the POP or IMAP?
right+click on the account settings server settings first line on the right shows "server type"

I have the same problem as mentioned above. I'm using POP. TB redownloads messages from the server creating duplicates of emails in my inbox. Some are over a year old. Deleting and sorting emails so that I can delete them is very difficult. I went to Appdata/..../Mail/profile name and deleted popstate.dat. it was 40kb and now is 1kb. I had deleted all the the duplicates and and when it restarted it did the down load again. Any suggestions? Marc
