TB has begun to show me the middle of incoming messages, not the top

more options

Until a couple of days ago, TB would show me the top of each incoming message. That's what I want. Then I think it updated, and now it positions the window to show the middle of incoming messages. I __think__, it is showing the top of the previous quoted message, but whatever it is doing, it is for sure not the top of the incoming message.

How can I get it to go back to showing the top of the messages? I don't think it is a bug, rather a default that changed with an update.

Cheers

Andy

I suggest you backup your profile. There is a small risk that the repair process will wipe some data.

Note that you should close Thunderbird before making a backup, but keep it open until you have found your profile. Help|Troubleshooting Information has tools to help you find your profile.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data

Now you have a backup, open Thunderbird, right-click the affected folder, select Properties, then Repair Folder.
