I have changed my password on my web email and now Thunderbird is unable to get emails. I have removed the old password, quit Thunderbird and restarted expecting to be asked for the new password, but this did not happen but got a message that sending password did not succeed. How many occurrences of your old password did you find and remove? There are usually at least two that matter, for incoming and outgoing.
