We tried moving mail from mailbox to local folder it's not happening . IT's happening for one single mail & for moving the second mail we need to close & reopen the mail client to move the mail again to a local folder. kindly advice on the same.

How are you moving messages?

Drag and drop? File|Save As?

By "a local folder", do you mean the "Local Folders" account in Thunderbird, or somewhere else in your file system?

Have you tried ImportExportTools to move many at once?
