Cant edit table (size adjustment) when copy & paste it from other file (word/excel)

When we paste a table from word/excel or any pdf it get pasted in mail box but we can not re-size it such as Column/Row width & height it has only option to delete or add column/row We can only re-size whole table from its corner but we can not re-size it from each column/row this disturbs whole table symmetry

Hmm, perhaps the issue here is trying to use a word processor to paste anything into an HTML document.

I have no issues copying a table from Libre office and modifying the number of rows or columns.

I also have no issue setting the background colour of individual cells.pr setting table borders. I think the issue may well be your choice of software to paste from. Have you tried anything that does not use Microsoft office?
