Using Nord Pass extension on Mozilla fine until today, when clicking on the green icon for stored username and password, this appears - "sudden error message : can't handle ITEM/URL_SEARCH type message"

Hi, My Firefox of recent is extremely slow or sometimes fails to load a page. I thought it could be some extensions I added about protection from tracking etc...I tried disabling them, but not sure if I succeeded. But the problem still isn't fixed. I don't think I will figure the issue out. Thanks

When you're going to fix the Ctrl + C issue?!

I'm sick and tired of restarting your f*g browser each time I need to paste something in a form on a page. It's frozen each time I press Ctrl+C somewhere outside your browser and return to it. I am forced to close it and restart it! It's been a year since this bug or even more.

I have Firefox as my browser on my laptop. Today I have been getting numerous pop-up messages from McAfee (which I do not have- I use a different web defense app) saying I need to renew my subscription or virus detected. Nothing I do gets rid of these pop-ups, which keep coming back (see example below) . How can I stop this from occurring? HELP!!

As of 21/11/2023, I can no longer use several chat services that had previously worked on Firefox, for example Santander bank and EDF. Plus, the POWR widget has stopped working on one of my favourite websites.... it used to pull in the charity's Facebook content but now all I see is the text and no imagery. I've notice FF in the past month has stooped maintaining scroll position upon refreshing. It was working perfectly until recently. maintain scroll position upon refreshing is a key feature to my work. Please help!

Dear Mozilla/Firefox, in the past week or so Firefox is noticeably slower to load than Norton Secure or Google Chrome. Running from a shortcut or pasting the same link into the address bar, Firefox takes around 25 seconds to load where Norton is almost instant. There are features of Firefox that I prefer over other browsers so hope you can guide me how to fix this. Thank you,

Since the last update (earlier this week) firefox uses large amounts of memory. It shows in the windows task manager 20 and more instances of firefox being open and one of them using 85%-90% of the available memory. I looked up help articles regarding this issue and one of them mentioned to "Delete content-prefs.sqlite file". When I do that it will help for a short period of time but then the issue is happening again. I'm using Windows 11 64 bit.

I'd appreciate some advice on how to deal with this.

Hi, for months now, Mozilla, keeps crashing, or asking me to install new updates very frequently. Today it told me I have an old version (I do not) and that I need to create a new profile. I love your privacy policy but am about to give up your product. I have an IT dep and they were not able to help either. Best of luck fixing these bugs

I am in Europe. My Bank is in the U.S. I can no longer log on and access my account through this Mozilla Browser.

I continually receive this message:\Secure Connection Failed

"An error occurred during a connection to click-notification.capitalone.com.

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

Dear Sir/Madam,

I need help with Mozilla Firefox 119.0.1 (64-bit) version which is almost not working internally without Internet link. When I try to open local internal site Mozilla Firefox waits to open https://www.bootstrapcdn.com/ Internet location which is unavailable because we are using the browser in isolated network and it is waiting for this site for more than 15 minutes before it opens the local site.

This is not the way we are expecting the browser to work so the question is can we disable this requests in Mozilla Firefox that we were not aware of and that are not asked from out side?

On all sites where I need to login with my work account I get a tab crash when the browser redirects to https://login.microsoftonline.com/ac4b0eb0-811e-4ab0-acca-8a87079290dc/oauth2/v2.0/authorize?response_type=id_token&scope=user.read......

This is a recent failure (this week), that occured without any changes on my own account to Firefox developer version 121.0b2(64-bits)

I had to install google chrome to overcome this problem. Chrome has no issues with microsoft authentication.

Please solve as soon as possible, otherwise I will be switching to another browser.

When watching videos on YouTube or Amazon Prime, Firefox will eventually stop recognizing keyboard and mouse input in all windows and tabs. This can happen after just a few minutes of video or after hours. It affects nearly all input: typing or clicking in webpages, the toolbar, the address bar, etc., though I can click the 'x' button to close tabs. When I close the final window, a dialogue will appear stating that Firefox is non-responsive and allowing me to kill the process. This seems unusual, because the OS's system monitor indicates there is plenty of unused and available RAM and CPU resources. Firefox behaves normally after restarting.

Today, Firefox appeared to freeze as I was trying to sign into my Hotmail account and then crashed. Subsequent attempts to restart Firefox result in crashes. Usually immediately, sometimes after about a minute.

I have tried "refreshing" Firefox, running in troubleshooting mode, and uninstalling/reinstalling. I also performed the memory test suggested and had no errors.

There are no crash reports in the "Crash Reports" folder.

I have Windows 10 Home, Version 22H2, Build 19045.3693 (not sure if this is helpful or not)

Since yesterday any streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu will only have green screen for the video. The sound will come through just fine and subtitles. My Wildvine is updated, I've toggled the DRM on and off several times, no changes. My browser has been checked for updates. Not sure what else to try at this point.
