It started this morning (6/23/24) the page for a YouTube video will load but the video doesn't play. I have cleared the cookies and cache, shut the browser down, restarted the computer, turned off all the extensions, and have turned off hardware acceleration. Nothing has changed, I can watch other videos on Firefox and Youtube work as normal on other browsers. Last night (6/22/26) before shutting down may computer for the night I had an update for Firefox and shut the browser so it could update. The image is of what the video section is displaying.

As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. There is a folder on my Google drive called "Personality-provider". It has about 30 .json files. When is search "Personality-provider" on internet the results indicate this folder and files are associated with Firefox. A. Why are these stored on my google drive? B. Can I delete them from my google drive? C. What are these files? D. Are they necessary for me to have backed up? See images. Many thanks. Will

I need working versions of Firefox not messes like I have been getting recently. 127.1 lost most of my passwords and won't link to websites I use every day. This version is a mess. I have had to go through and reset multiple passwords, and can't login to websites I use every day. Check your updates before you release them. I know have firefox set to not upgrade automatically.

When pasting text into Outlook Online the text removes the preceding space. A minor inconvenience but it does mean I have to double space before pasting.

Also after pasting text I get a paste box that locks out any controls unless I click out of it or press ESC. (image below)

Text being copied from inside Outlook doesn't pop up the box.

This problem is only happening with Firefox as using a different browser (i.e. chrome at office) does not do either of the problems. Anyway to fix either option?

My master password no longer accepted. every time I try to use it {recently} I get a response please put your master password. It keeps asking me over and over with no result. please help. Thanks.

For over a year, I've used my Firefox browser to read the Kindle books. In the top right corner there should be six icons representing 1. Table of contents 2. Search 3. Reader settings (size of font and one or two columns) 4. Annotations 5. Add bookmark 6. Reader menu - this should have five dropdown items including "go to page" which is missing. It now only displays the first and the last, and I want to use "go to page" which is missing.

Another failure of going to the right page - when I log into Firefox on my desktop after browsing Kindle on my Kindle reader, Firefox is meant to go automatically to where I have been reading on the table. Instead it goes to the beginning of the book. That looks like the same problem - failure to go to the right page.

It works fine on Opera but I have to look up my passwords and type in the URL, whereas my Firefox browser shows Kindle along the top, and my password manager works for Firefox. So Opera is very inconvenient.

I guessed that my version of Firefox has become corrupted, but couldn't find how to re-install it.

My computer (Windows 11) crashed while I was using Firefox--for the first time that I've seen, it did a full disk check. When booting back up, I was unable to use Firefox, since it said that my profiles.ini file was lost/corrupted.

After renaming the old file, I went back to the folder. It was easy enough to reinstall the add-ons that I needed, but I'm trying to get my bookmarks back. However, I can't seem to find them--the "bookmarkbackups" folders that come up are too new, and only one (the current one) has a file in it.

Any help will be appreciated! I'm not sure what I can do.

since the last update (firefox 127.0 or 127.0.1), i can't delete unwanted suggestion from autofil history anymore (the right search engine tool bar words with the clock icon or any website search bar) each time i want to delete the unwanted word, it reappear immediately after in the suggestion list.

I would like to review a listing of all the extensions recommended by Mozilla for FF. One would think a list exists somewhere. But my searching for recommended extensions have not yielded the anticipated results. I found an article on the recommended extension program, but no list. If the answer is obvious, forgive me, but I didn't see it.

Websites look extremely ugly because of the white borders surrounding icons. I've tried using CSS code I found on Reddit from posts that - I think - are related to my issue, but they proved fruitless.

What CSS/Setting do I have to disable to get rid of this?

Did FireFox just officially do an Enhancer for YouTube...I got this on my Firefox screen. List 'what's new' and asks for donation...don't mind donating but is this a scam message or is it from FireFox?

I had to swap out my hard drive the other day without being able to save any data from Firefox. When the new disk was reloaded from the old one the user names were not made the same as with the old disk. When i use Firefox and save a password it says it has been saved but when I use the same site again the passwords don't fill in. When I look at the passwords via the passwords settings there is nothing there. Can you tell me how to get passwords to work please? Thanks John
