I have a site where I have a valid login and password. I can login in Edge and FF Private Window, but in FF I get the attached message. Coninued tries gets me locked out for 24 hours.

I have whitelisted the site. Cleared caches and cookies, etc.

What does this mean and how can I fix it?

This morning I saw that images were not downloading within my GMAIL messages. Believing that something was wrong with my connection, I decided to give both my computers a restart. This concerns my Windows 10 64-Bit, on which I had both Edge and Firefox opened, both with multi-tabs. In Firefox I had my Google account open with other tabs. After shutting down both computers I left my apartment. The Windows 10 restarted on its own; but both browsers lost their tabs even though I set each to reopen the previous session. With Edge and function keys I was able to restore my previous session; but not with Firefox. about:sessionrestore was not available. The Profile folder did not show a backup for these lost tabs. I hate hunting for them in History because I am working on multiple projects and don't have time for this wasteful activity, which is why I set Startup to Open Previous Windows And Tabs. What option did I miss?

All of a sudden, I can't download any attachments, no matter what file type it is. I've reset Firefox to it's default, restarted, everything suggested. I don't have the first clue as to what this is.

Every time I sign into something using Firefox the recaptcha does not allow me to continue. If I switch to Google Chrome it works. Please help me to be able to use Firefox.

When downloading a file in Facebook Messenger, Firefox changes file extension to .pdf. My case was .docx file but looking for help found people have problem with other formats, even non document saving as .pdf.

There is a hacker who accessed my Google account via Firefox about 10 hours ago, with the result my language setting has been switched to Korean. I live in Hong Kong and have never been to Korea, and I do understand Korean at all. Can you help pls? Thx.

For a week or better I have been unable to download anything through my Firefox browser, I have refreshed and uninstalled Firefox (I had to reinstall through another browser) in an attempt to fix this issue to no avail. I cannot download from verified sites, nor am I able to download Firefox's own extensions or themes (when I attempt I get an error telling me to check my connection, screenshot included).

I would like to be able to use Firefox normally again, with the ability to download files and install my extensions restored.

The screenshot is missing in settings: I typed about:certificate and it is showing the DigiNotar Root CA - Server. I clicked on it,and it say "Explicitly Distrust DigiNotar Root CA.

The color on top of the Desktop is a blue gray color not black like it shows on the instructions steps when there is a picture showing the menu with instructions. I am getting a message when I open Firefox saying that "Open or Refresh Firefox" It has caused me a problem when clicking on it

Also, I don/t know if this the community help which I am trying to get help because of the problems I am having.

Question: Does Firefox runs on Chromium or it it a Chromium?

Hello, my browser keeps coming up with my location as Boydton, VA 23917, My actual location is Collegeville, PA 19426. Other browsers get my location correct, only Firefox continues to come up with Boydton, VA 23917. Could there be someone accessing my account in Boydton, VA 23917?

I am encountering display issues with my WordPress website, which is dedicated to a fan-made game called Pokémon Infinite Fusion. The site appears to load correctly on other browsers like Chrome and Edge, but certain elements are not displaying properly on Firefox.

   CSS and JavaScript Debugging: Checked and validated CSS and JavaScript for compatibility issues.
   Browser Cache Clearing: Cleared the cache and cookies in Firefox to ensure it wasn’t a caching issue.
   Add-ons Disabled: Ran Firefox in Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled to see if any extensions were causing the issue.
   Responsive Design Mode: Used Firefox's Responsive Design Mode to check how the site renders on different screen sizes.
   Error Console: Reviewed the Error Console in Firefox to identify any specific errors or warnings.

What I Expected:

I expected that the website would display consistently across all browsers, including Firefox.

What Actually Happened:

Despite my efforts, certain elements on the site, such as images and interactive features, still do not display correctly on Firefox. These issues are not present on other browsers, which suggests a compatibility problem specific to Firefox.

Questions:

   Are there any known compatibility issues between Firefox and certain WordPress themes or plugins that might cause this problem?
   Could there be specific CSS or JavaScript practices that work in other browsers but not in Firefox?
   Are there additional tools or techniques in Firefox that I can use to diagnose and fix these display issues?

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve these display issues. Ensuring a consistent user experience across all browsers is important for my website.

Hello, I want to add a secondary email to my Mozilla account. I have looked at the help page but can't get the first step of the instructions to work. See image 1 below.

This is the only "Burger" I can see, and I am Signed In to Support. See image 2 below.

This Menu does not have an option for "Manage Account"

Hi my old account email doesnt exist anymore, I cannot log into that account so i cant login to Firefox because its sending a confirmation code to my old email but i cannot login to this email account anymore so i cant get the code to login to firefox. Is there anyway I can still change the email adress from my account? Thank you!

i formatted my computer, and used last session .Json files to restore my tabs from before. this allowed me to have my tabs. but even weeks after reinstalling, Firefox does something uncharacteristic. it opens with one window with one tab. then after a second or two, it closes. and then reopens with all the tabs. I would consider a re-install but i don't want to lose the tabs again, and i have 2 computers with different tab sessions (different users on the reformatted one as its a family computer)

its functional but annoying. What can i do?

i would include screenshots but you can't really screen grab a PROCESS, so that doesn't help here.

i am running windows 10.

Suddenly my Firefox cannot open saved .htm/.html files on my pc but Edge can. I don't know when this happened but probably during the last month or so. When I try to open a saved .htm or .html file Win10 gives me a "Windows cannot find (path and file name)" error. If I "OPEN WITH" Edge it works just fine. I've checked my default apps and file type associations and they are all properly set to Firefox. I did a RESTART in Firefox but that was no help. Is this actually a Windows problem, or do I need to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox? Currently running Win10 (64-bit) and Firefox 126.0.1 (64-bit).

My password saved are deleted every time I close FF. It used to be manageable because Google and other sites didn't require me to fill my passwords (cookies did the trick I suppose) but now I also loose access to gmail and Youtube every time I close FF. It's annoying to have to use 2FA every damn time. And keeping the passwords available.

I've tried every answer I found by looking around :

- tried to start in safe mode - disable hardware acceleration - I have no extensions

FF saves the passwords correctly (at least they appear in the saved password tab) but they are erased every time I restart FF. The cookies aren't automatically deleted (FF remembers my browsing history) but I need to relog into Google.

I getting frustrated.
