All of a sudden, I can't download any attachments, no matter what file type it is. I've reset Firefox to it's default, restarted, everything suggested. I don't have the first clue as to what this is.

To work out what is going on we'll need some more information. Where are you downloading attachments from - what email provider is this?

When you say "can't" - is there an error message that appears when you try, or is the option to download files simply not present? (A screenshot may help, but please make sure to redact any personal information as this forum is public.)
