After upgrating to the latest version, now everytime I start up the Internet, the "Thank You For Upgrading" keeps showing up. How can I get rid of this so it won't load. Thanks
Basically when I want to get into the Internet, I am expecting to go to my regular home page, but instead the "Thank You For Upgrading" appears instead. How can I disable or delete this page from appearing everytime. Thanks
Dennis

Hi centurion12,
You should look at this article about that specific issue and the article Preferences not saved. These should give you all the information you need!
If that doesn't work:
- Type about:config in the address bar
- Click I'll be careful, I promise if prompted
- In the Filter input field type startup
- Double click on startup.homepage_override_url
- Delete the text string and click OK
- Close Firefox and reopen the window to verify that it has worked.
Hopefully this helps!
Thanks for your response. I did exactly what you suggested, but the "Thank you" loaded again. So I went back into the "about:config" to go through the process again, and offending string reappeared again. I deleted it again. I checked the process again, and the string reappeared. It will not delete.
Also in my options menu, the correct start page appears in the box, but the "Thank you" page loads first. I even tried re-installing Firefox. That does not work either. Hope you can help. Thanks
Did you follow the instruction in the Preferences not saved article?
