After unsuccesful attempts at installing a free burner program cnet2Setup_FreeBurner.exe on my Win2kSp4 using Firefox v8, 

I got several problems.

I was able to replace a missing gdiplus.dll, but the chyrome://launchy/content/io.js:201 problem remains. I get that problem first time FF is started, wit a message about a script not responding, and I have to stop the script.

I now have problems with many media related programs, I cannot use the HP printer for printout or scanning. Are all those problems also related to the launchy problem?

If that is not a launchy problem, I don't know what to do except a complete reinstallation.
