cannot restore a back up firefox settings was previously installed on windows seven

i have installed firefox 4 on windows seven then i have made a back up by going to : Help > Troubleshooting Information.

then by pressing open containing folder i copied the folder ,installed fire fox 6 on windows xp and tried to restore this backup by copying the file in place of the default profile folder of the new firefox 6

but i had my firefox not customized the same way i had on windows seven , it was devoid of about 90% of installed add-ons ,non customized toolbars , and others

please help me
