My firefox wont open a new tab by double clicking on the tab bar anymore. What happened to this feature?
I am pretty sure that firefox used to allow me to double click anywhere on the tab bar to open a new blank tab. Recently I have noticed that this feature is no longer working. Ive tried un-installing and reinstalling. No luck....
Am I just going crazy? or did this feature get recently removed?

This is WFM with 3.6 and the latest nightly.
Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
Uh can you elaborate. WFM? 3.6?
And neither of the links you posted provide any support.

WFM - works for me with both version 3.6 and that latest version available. I am able to double click and a new tab is opened. Try running in Safe Mode and see if it works. If it does, an extension or setting is stopping it from happening on your profile.
Oh right. well i tried restarting in safe mode with add on's disabled. No luck.
Does it work if you middle-click the tab bar?
Does it work if you disable Tabs-on-Top?
I will check when i get home. I ended just installing an add-on that allows it to work. but there is a slight delay. I am on my work computer now and it works perfectly in 7.0.1.
I dunno why it just stopped working on my home PC.
