links do not work on some sites using firefox

Some links on the CPanel (for my website) do not work since updating to Firefox 5.0 (Works okay on other browsers.)

(The URL in question is a password secure site, I cannot paste it here - its the standard CPanel front-page and the side links that do not respond.)

Since visiting this site I've realised the problem occurs here as well - it seems to be js driven links in side panels.. guessing...

btw, it says in the 'Installed plugins' that I have Office Live Update v1.0 - I'm pretty sure I don't.

I'm able to use links such as File Manager in cPanel on BlueHost. Do you use any "blockers" (e.g., ad blockers) that could be suppressing the display of overlays?

more options

No, no ad blockers. The iconed links on cPanel all work. On the side bar 'File Manager' is the only one that works! All others in the 'frequently visited' don't work. (What's the difference?)

(Also, I notice that the dotted line around clicked image links does not go away as usual when you click somewhere else. Something odd here.)

I'm encountering more of this here. For ex. the side links on this site to Mac OS help, etc,. do not work - the drop down shows but the links do nothing.

I'm wondering if this may coincide with recent Mac OS update. Got both Firefox and OS around the same time. But the problem only happens using Firefox 5.

I've been playing with this but nothing makes any difference. cheers, IanS
