Every single YouTube video will crash Adobe Flash, regardless of browser. I've gone from Firefox 3.6, to the beta/minefield? version of Firefox 4, and i've even tried Chrome. Regardless of browser, it will crash Adobe Flash. As you can understand this problem is exceptionally frustrating to me as my desktop computer has Firefox 3.6, with the same extensions and adobe flash installed with no issue whatsoever.

I have no changed anything to my system except for installing Microsoft Silverlight which I thought would've been the problem but sadly it didn't fix my issue after an uninstallation and cleaning of any registry entries with CCleaner.

I am currently on a clean install of firefox 4 with flash. It still crashes. I have no made any changes to my system. As far as I understand Adobe Flash has not updated their software within the last week, and if it has, my desktop computer has been regularly updating itself with no issues whatsoever.

One last thing to mention. It used to work prior to yesterday. I have absolutely no idea what would cause across every single browser aside from either something system configuration related, or something in Flash itself.

I can't even right click and go to Flash "settings" to change hardware acceleration options to determine whether or not it is some kind of system incompability. Not that there should be one being that my software configuration worked prior to the past two days.

After some searching on the official Adobe Flash Player forums, I came across a very popular topic hitting almost nearly 700 hits!

So this may be the issue and not necessarily with Firefox, however, I feel it is vital that this support claim be put in public here so that others may chime in and maybe get Adobe to notice this issue.

I had the same problem and unistalled 10.2 and installed 10.1 and it worked fine.

Here is what worked for me:

I had the same problem as the picture in the post above. I uninstalled 10.2 and reverted back to 10.1

This solved my problem. Youtube videos from youtube.com now work correctly again. Videos would only play audio in firefox, but video+audio worked in Internet Explorer. Those are the only two browsers I could test. As someone posted previously, embedded youtube videos DID work in firefox (latest official build) but not from the youtube.com site itself.

To do what I did, uninstall Flash 10.2 and install 10.1 via http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp 10.1_archive.zip

This worked for me, let me know if it helps any of you. Hope for an official fix for 10.2 or from Firefox team.

I had exactly the same problem and realized it was flash update. Instead of rolling back, I checked and my display driver needed updating, once done all problems with Firefox 3.+ and 4.0, as well as chrome disappeared. Still not sure what is in latest flash update that is causing problem....thank you Adobe.

Hope this helps some folk.
