Firefox crashed. I took it off the computer and tried to reload. The window keeps popping up that says e're sorry firefox had a problem and crashed well try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts to help us diagnonse and fix problem send us a rassh report. then at the bottom it has two buttons one to restart and one to quit. when I click restart the window pops back up. if i try to reload through internet explorer, the same window pops up again! The Parent control bar was added to internet explorer with no problem and is still there.

Try pressing windows key and r simultaneously, then typing firefox.exe -safe-mode. When the box pops up, select "Disable all add-ons," "Reset toolbars and controls," and "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults." Then click Make Changes and Restart.

Try to delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well. Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
