Why can't I update firefox?
I tried to update Firefox and it said permission was denied to do this. I am the one and only administrator on this computer. I have updated many times before. Why is this being denied now and where does this leave me security wise if I can't update?

Been there! Done that! Guess I'll just switch back to Safari.
- Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
- Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.
- Install the new version that you have downloaded.
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.
