copied profiles from old to new, now i get 'A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time.'

admitting defeat! after copying profiles from old computer to new one i can't get firefox to launch. says it's already open. i have gone as far as deleting the application, along with the cache and profiles and emptying the trash. then downloaded new version and same thing. obviously i'm forgetting something. have been out of the loop for a while... thanks for any help. :)

If you restored or copied a profile folder and not the corresponding file profiles.ini then you need to use the Profile Manager to create a new profile and choose the location of the restored profile as the location of the new profile (Choose Folder).
