I keep updating Firefox to 3.6.6 but when I reboot it reverts back to 3.6.4.

Firefox keeps reverting back to 3.6.4 when I reboot. I have installed 3.6.6 several times but when I reboot it goes back to my previous version. When I launch the browser after a reboot I get a webpage as if I had just installed 3.6.4 even though I didn't.
