Google Image reverse image search results are green pixels (or pink, blue etc)

For a while now whenever I drag and drop an image into Google Image, the results show up as pixelated pink, blue, green, yellow etc images. Not a single trace of the original image can be seen.

It has been like this for several updates now, I lost count how many to be exact. But it's been months. In Edge it works just fine, but I don't plan changing browsers just because of that.

If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to know.

That is canvas fingerprinting protection, you can let the site access the canvas from the icon in the address bar at the expense of exposing your browser fingerprint.
