macOS Catalina 10.15.7, Firefox 108.0.1

For as long as I remember, Firefox has ordered the window list that is displayed by selecting Window in the top Menu Bar in the order that the windows were created. This past week after a computer restart, the order has changed to alphabetic based on the title of the window. How can I get back to the previous method, ordered by creation time?

That is not possible. It appears that previously Firefox had its own code to generate this Window menu list. This code has been removed in 108 and now the Mac OS fills this list to make it possible for extra menu items to appear in the list. This got fixed as part of the work done in bug 1642138.
