You need to show how Firefox is doing it. A little evidence goes along way.
The printer, which is USB connected, works fine, when Firefox is not running. Use of the printer, when Firefox is on, results in a reports that the printer is offline.
What kinda Canon printer is this? And what does the screenshot error say? How are you conected USB?
