Firefox ver 70.0.1 - addons don't work

After updating from Firefox 69 to Firefox ver 70.0.1 ad blocking add ons for Firefox stoped working. I tested the same issue in Firefox Developer Edition 71.0b5 and thete it works fine.

Can anyone tell me what me be the reason and how to fix it?

Launch Firefox. Click "Firefox" and then click "Help" and "Troubleshooting Information." Click the "Show Folder" button to display the location of the files that comprise your current Firefox profile. A File Explorer window opens.


Click "File" and "Exit" to close Firefox. Click on the File Explorer window that shows your profile folder.



Click "Profiles," the parent folder of the current directory, in the address bar. Explore the folders containing other Firefox profiles for this computer in the Profiles directory. Browse the Extensions folder inside each profile to locate the folder that seems to contain the files from your old or damaged profile.


Click the Extensions folder to highlight it, right-click and click "Copy." Navigate up one level to Profiles, and then choose your current profile directory. Right-click and select "Paste" to recover your extensions by copying them from your old Firefox profile.


Launch Firefox. Firefox discovers the new extensions and asks you if you want to enable them. Confirm the prompt for each extension you added.

I have just one profile in the folder but my addons don't work anyway. If I try to open Ublock Origin settings I don't have the filters list and I can't change anything.

~ Studies can be disabled again after the add-ons have been re-enabled

It may take up to six hours for the Study to be applied to Firefox. To check if the fix has been applied, you can enter “about:studies” in the location bar. If the fix is in the active, you’ll see “hotfix-update-xpi-signing-intermediate-bug-1548973” in either the Active studies or Completed studies as follows:

Hi Senali Madawala, the expired signing certificate issue was fixed in Firefox 66.0.5 and later, so it is no longer necessary for users to enable Studies unless they are running an old release. (Also, in that case, they can install a fix directly from the Mozilla Add-ons site.)

I have Keepa and Ublock Origins installed and no one is working. In the storage diagnostic I have some errors, I've attached a screenshot.

Tried it, but it didn't help me.

The only extensions that don't work are those for add blocking. I tested: AdBlock , AdBlock Plus, uBlock Origin , AdBlocker Ultimate, but none of them works. Other extensions work fine.

When I try to enter the page: https://firefox-storage-test.glitch.me/ i get '502 Bad Gateway' error, so I can't test it now. I will try some time later or tomorrow.

So simple, yet I didn't think about it. Problem is solved, now its working fine. Thanks to everyone for your effort.

For anyone who might still need it: Go to "Firefox/Help" and "Troubleshooting Information" and then choose 'Refres Firefox'.

I just removed all files from storage folder in my profile directory, it's work for me.
