I use Linux and my latest version is Firefox 68.0.1.

I should of taken a screen shot. After I repaired the upgrade package for Linux lite because it was not updating the Linux system got the correct version 68.01. but prior it displayed 68.0.2.

mozilla has neither built nor released such a version at this point.

Can you attach the Application Basics section on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page?

When I discovered that Linux lite was not able to access its update site (Linux updates all systems including FF)I worked on correcting that problem. Once it was corrected it updated and when I went back to Firefox it was displaying 68.01. currently I do not have FF 68.02 or any information to display.
