Any upcoming privacy projects to combat machine learning data leakage or malicious cloud data attacks?

What is Firefox doing to harden/strength/guard/ privacy .... or "preemptively" protect consumer or public citizens from data mining or machine learning capabilities that are being performed by Government or private Business class entities outside of the public citizen sector?

More importantly when this technology potentially crosses into the pubic multiverse from a private or Government sector, is Firefox doing anything now to strengthen our first line of defense against cloud data leakage or miss configured data mining technologies? This question is somewhat different than a TOR browser bug or vulnerability.

I am asking if there is any form of shielding or upcoming boost of added privacy protection above TOR configurations or SOCK type VPN's that will offer protection against misguided cloud data usage either maliciously, criminally or pure accident?
