Feedback to improve Firefox!

I love Mozilla; I want to love Firefox.
In an effort to slowing down Google's dominance I am reluctant to use their products, including Chrome; they are taking over the world and their privacy policy is a joke. The problem is that unfortunately there are a number of limitations with firefox which mean as a business we find it hard to use it on a daily basis over Chrome. We are a small business running an office of 10; when we trialled firefox I had a load of moans initially - we have trialled for almost 4 months, but are now going to have to revert back.
My three biggest gripes are;
1.Copy, Paste and Find - this is the most important factor for me personally. When you copy (using CTRL + C), then find (using CTRL + F) then paste (using CTRL + V) Chrome automatically removes the end space (if what you have copied via double clicking on a word/number has included the space) . When using firefox and completely the same operation in a quick double click word, copy, find, paste scenario the browser shows nothing found on page, because it includes the space in the search. Unsure how this is achieved in Chrome, but this is a huge inconvenience for me; although it sounds extremely small, it has forced me to go back to using Chrome!
2. Capability issues; Unfortunately there are a few sites which do not operate correctly with Firefox; when I query this with their support team (Barclaycard for example) they ALWAYS advise downloading Chrome to test - unfortunately this causes a vicious circle to increasing their market share...
3. Mobile - Running Android the firefox app is simply far far slower than Chrome - I'm unsure whether this is due to Google's advanatge with their own OS?! Is this experienced by everyone?

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste word_sel and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the layout.word_select.eat_space_to_next_word preference to switch the value from true to false to avoid selecting the space

For websites that don't work well with Firefox, you can report them at https://www.webcompat.com/.
For Firefox for Android, keep an eye out for news on that front coming later this year. In the meantime, install ublock origin on Firefox for Android to help speed things up.

Unfortunately the copy, paste, find issue is too big for me to ignore so I'll be unable to use firework at work - I like to have history etc all sync'd so will have to revert all back to Chrome or else it becomes a headache.
I want to use Firefox.... but life is easier with Chrome, unfortunately.

As a footnote, what if you don't paste? When I double-click a word and then invoke Ctrl+f, Firefox has already placed the word, without a trailing space, in the search bar. So an alternate workflow for selected-word-find-in-page could be:
- double-click to select (and don't worry about the extra space)
- Ctrl+f
- Enter

This is exactly what I am after - thank you so much. I can now uninstall Chrome again and revert back to Firefox!
p.s. still strange to me that the Chrome app highlights the space but doesn't paste into the find field?! presumably this is intentional?

My Firefox doesn't operate like this - or didn't previously (but Chrome did?!) Very strange...
I'm sure you can't believe it took 4 months to learn about that setting, but maybe you didn't have any good leads on where to ask. These are all good communities for challenging questions, with different levels of, um, decorum:
