I'm refining my question. It seems it's not an issue with 'lastDir' or 'lastDir.savePerSite', as much as it's an issue with a certain type of Save As command not using them, or an improperly coded addon, not sure. When I right click on an image(or anything else for that matter) and select 'Save Image As...', the process seems to properly recognize my last download directory, same with dragging an item to the downloads icon on my menu bar. However I have 2 addons that also allow me to quickly 'Save As' things, but somehow that Save As doesn't seem to recognize my last saved directory, it'll always open up the save dialog box in my Downloads folder. I can try saving in as many folders as I want and it'll never seem to remember, but standard Save As (thru the right click menu) does. My question: Is there some kind of separate Save As command that these addons are calling? One that isn't properly utilizing lastDir information? Or do some kind of modifiers need to be added for the Save As to recognize the last directory info? Is this a problem of firefox, or the addon developer? (I'm using Gesturefy and Image Picka)
