After return from my holiday I updated FX from 54 to 55.0.3 and I lost history. Contrary to a few cases I've read about my bookmarks were untouched, except lost of favicons. I have a profile backup in a disk image so I've tried in vain: - coping profile from backup to FX 55 - profile with lost history in FX 54 - I made sure that updating corrupts places.sqlite - BackupFox 1.0.5.1-signed.1-signed https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/addon/backupfox/?src=search doesn't work at all - FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/addon/febe/?src=search doesn't restore. It found 115 008 entries when in Configurationmania I set it for 211 000 entries - if I correctly remember I roughly doubled a default number. - browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2. change to false - My profile path is C:\Users\pawci\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\v5su1jpp.default-1424046876556 so it is not because an apostrophe I've found https://superuser.com/questions/111998/how-do-i-repair-a-corrupted-firefox-places-sqlite-database and in places.sqlite.corrupt I've found ERROR (all caps) in an SQL comment. Would be enough just to delete or change this one entry? And without using any commands with which I have nearly 0 experience? In something like DB Browser for SQLite http://sqlitebrowser.org/ ? - Updating default profile doesn't make any problem, but coping places.sqlite from backup to default profile corrupts it.
