In prev. ver. it was possible to right click on the image placeholder, select view image and it loaded. Now, it works only with javascr enabled, how to solve?

Hi In previous versions it was possible to right click on the image placeholder, select view image and it loaded. Now, it works only with javascript enabled, otherwise you get a blank screen? this is crap because I have a slow connection and cant afford to enable js.
