Hi, although I was relatively ok with the Chrome as default browser in Android, which also have some nice things missing in Firefox, as I always use the Desktop Firefox I tried the Android one. In some things was better than Chrome, with some websites. So I wanted to stick to it. But now EVERY SINGLE TIME that I search for something in google and I click on one of the results, I am at first brought to a white page with this google redirect notice where I am asked if I want to visit that link. And this is just NO GO. I have tried to install this Google Redirect Fixer Addon, and a similar one, but with both I have received the error that they are not compatible. The developers do not even answer, cool. Which other solutions do I have? Thanks

I want to add, sorry it doesn't directly address your question.

Just want to mention that I switched to Bing long ago, and it offers more privacy and just as good, if not better results.

Thanks, I had missed it. I see it is still in experimental phase but with good reviews. I have added it, and till now it worked good ;) Finally!

Although I find that in Android Google is more easy to use due to the fact that, at least in my Xperia Z1 Compact, with a long press on the Home button I can start searching. But well, I could just put a Bing Icon on the home Screen...

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-no-tracking-url/ was not compatible because the author only made it for desktop Firefox. Look at bottom of extension page in Version Information to see if it is listed as compatible with "Firefox for Android' also.

The extensions for Android Firefox are listed https://addons.mozilla.org/android/

You can change the product section at top where is says Other Applications.
