want to have site names in the search bar not just icons

The new release of Firefox displays only search engine icons in the search bar --which is a real problem given that I have several engines with exactly the same icon (and my eyesight isn't up to discerning the differences between those tiny icons anyway!)

Is there any way to return to the earlier set up where the user is presented with a list of site names rather than just the icons?

Hello muzhogg, go to about:config and toggle the next preference browser.search.showOneOffButtons to false.
