I uploaded an example here: http://youtu.be/UDkLUFNKFJk

It doesn't happen when I'm opening new tabs. It doesn't happen with any other browser. It doesn't matter which websites I have open in tabs. It ONLY happens when Firefox 34.0 and now 34.0.5 is open. Doesn't matter whether I have any other programs open or not.

I'm at a loss. Firefox is my favorite browser. I don't want to have to stop using it. Help?

hello jenepherre, that's strange indeed. could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

Meant to include that the first time. Sorry.

BTW, I've already done a reset, and it made no difference.

thanks, just in order to diagnose this issue further: does this issue reproduce in firefox safemode as well?

Yes, unfortunately it does do it in safe mode as well.

Thanks for all your time, Philipp.

Your user agent reports that you are using Windows NT 6.1 (Windows 7). Is this correct? I found a posting remarkably similar, even with the exact same popping as in the video, but that was on Windows XP. Still, if you want to check it out: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/252529/bubble-popping-noise/

I've been using IE instead for a little while, but just tried Firefox again, and the problem seems to have resolved itself. Not sure how, but not going to complain either.

Thanks to all who responded to my query.
