I have 6 accounts on cox.net and today in two out of the 6 accounts, emails that I send are not saved and I get a message "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed… (читать ещё)
I have 6 accounts on cox.net and today in two out of the 6 accounts, emails that I send are not saved and I get a message "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. The "sent" folders for these two accounts are grayed out. I have verified that the account settings have the right folder as the destination for the sent emails and have checked that all emails should be saved. I also get a message in Thundebird -The current command did not succeed. The mail server for account xxxxx responded [TRYCREATE} Mailbox doesn't exist. Mail goes out but no copy is saved. Only two out of 6 accounts are affected and I didn't do anything to them before this started happening.

I have 3 machines with Thunderbird. A while back I noticed that I had duplicate folders for sent mail (Sent & Sent Mail) and for Drafts. (Drafts and Drafts) I did a search and found a discussion from 2019, but nothing more recent. That one kinda lost me. I just got a new machine and installed Thunderbird again. My Gmail account on the new machine shows the same dual folders. Hopefully someone here can detail a solution in steps for a moron like myself.

So I have multiple email accounts. When using folder mode I want to show all the email account inboxes in the unified inbox interface. All but one email account inbox shows up. I do see the email where are the email addresses are showing. But not in the unified inbox area. why is that?
Settings When i go to Folder Mode - Enable, Unified Folders result: all accounts except 1 shows up. question: why wouldn't that account only not show up? And how do I fix it?

With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. Hello, I've found this article [[Knowledge Base Article|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/maildir-thunderbird]] which substantially says that the use of maildir is deprecated. Has anything changed from the time that article was posted? I'd like to use maildir, it seems to me a more rational way to store e-mails (and it's also better to make incremental backups).

Hello and thank you for your help, I am trying to find my old Mozilla Thunderbird, e-mail account my older computer does not work, anymore, I have not used my Thunderbird, e-mail account in over five years, because I am on a newer computer. And could not access my information on the older computer that does not work. I could really use all my information and EMAIL account for Thunderbird, because I have many years of information on all those emails, I can’t find my password, 0r email address for Thunderbird emails, because I have not used my Thunderbird account in over 5 years. My old computer does not work and Thunderbird Email is a great program. How could I get my old emails back? And working. If you could please give me more or less a time, and date, to wait for your response, so I can wait for someone to help me, and not lose that opportunity. I have over 200 emails that I can find in search and can view a preview type showing of emails, I can right click or take any action aside from clicking to open email. But when I try to open email it seem to open a new page that is blank and shows a page just like regular email listing but the field showing emails in blank. This same blank results also happens when I can see emails in search window but click the link to view in list view. I just need to open an email enough to be able to see what email address the original email was sent to. I also will add I cant seem to find any of the emails found in search in any of the accounts that being used in Thunderbird (accounts listed in left side column) Also these emails are 2 years old and the computer may or may not have had a OS reset during that time but not sure.

One email has this problem (the others are fine) When I open any incoming email, I get this warning at the bottom of the page: "A unique identity matching the From address was not found. The message will be sent using the current From field and settings from identity Joan Dailey<jdailey@expresslyyours.com" </p>
Also, having clicked on it to open it, the email appears to be (automatically) a reply from me and none of the links that may be in the email work... it also appears to be in edit mode.
Further, if I go into my expresslyyours account at https://webmail.greatmail.com, I am allowed to click a box and allow the message to present normally. Part of those emails may be coming to e-store@expresslyyours.com... however, it is happening to ALL emails to my EY mailbox. What can I do to fix this? Where to look? By the way, have discussed this with greatmail and they are puzzled.
