This is the message I get when trying to send emails: "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: pgbentley101@gmail.com recipient rejected. Please check the message recipient "pgbentley101@gmail.com" and try again."

Title. Thunderbird is a really cool client but it's pretty slow. I blame that on the thousands upon thousands of emails that my hotmail and gmail each hold. I don't necessarily want to delete these emails, but I have seldom a reason to have any email older than 2 months in my thunderbird client slowing and crashing the program whenever I want to combine inboxes.

To this end I went to "Synchronization & Storage" and told it to "Synchronize the most recent 2 months" but it didn't delete the huge cluster of older emails. The next option is to tell TB to delete these emails in the same menu but as I understand it that would also delete them in the server, which I don't want to do for posteriority.

What do I do?

In Thunderbird 115.5.0 (64-bit) when you have collapsed threads enabled I have seen the software indicate there are say 8 unread messages. There are no bolded messages in the message panel. If you click on the READ status column you still can not see the unread messages. The only way is to uncollapse the threads and scroll down the message pane to see the bolded messages in each thread. Why?

If the threads are collapsed how are we supposed to find unread messages?

The first address is sometimes clipped when entered in the "to" field. In the images below, abuse@cogentco.com was entered but the final m was not displayed until I clicked back on the entry. See the attached images...

In old thundebird I had unified folders view. Under Inbox I was able to see all accounts and in main inbox I was able to select which inboxes I want to see.

Now, in supernova under main inboxes I see only those accounts that are selected in main Inbox.

Is it possible to activate old view?

Hello, In the latest THUNDERBIRD, I cannot sort incoming emails into unread because the program shows a cascade of the first thread to the last one, and I want to see only the last unread message from a given thread, as in the old program. how to turn it off?

email preview window text is overlapping body text in last week. It also does not allow me to see the senders actual email - which is helpful in eliminating phishing

how do I change the "from" and "subject" font appearance in thunderbird inbox list view? They are currently a little bizzare with the sender appearing smaller than the subject line etc. I am not familliar with .css file settings and so will need to be considered a simpleton with any explanations. Any aswers I have seen refer to fire fox and assume that I know how to create the changes required or add a .css file somewhere. Thanks in advance. I attach a screen shot of my current inbox view . Hello, this morning i opened TB as everyday and i found a bad surprise.

My inbox main folder was empty.

I reached the source file following path and a saw that it was a few kilobytes large. My inbox is the same from 2 years, and i'm sure that inbox file exceeds 2GB.

I have to say that my disk is a little damaged, and sometimes TB opened slowly.

How can i recovery my lost db?

I'm trying some recovery software but no one have found this lost file.

What TB has done? It deleted the big file and recreate a new one? But if this is the answer, were did original inbox file go?

I just signed up for an app called, "hi5" and used my Thunderbird email address: gohanzaizenb3st@mailfence.com to receive the confirmation email, and for some reason I have yet to receive that confirmation email.
