Hi, I'm having issues with my Google search results page. It used to be very clean looking and mainly only showing the results of whatever I searched. Today though, I searched something and now the Google results are first showing Reddit answers, what others have asked, discussions and forums, what others have searched, short videos, etc. I have to scroll really far down just to get some normal search results. How can I fix this? Call me old school but I want the classic version back. Please help, I don't want to switch browsers. I've been using Firefox nearly since it's launch, since StumbleUpon days. I am migrating to a new phone. WhatsApp offered firefox as an option for storing its passkey. That took me to the connection and synchronisation process which the new phone said had failed. However all my tabs and other passwords appear to be syncing. Now selecting firefox to store the WhatsApp passkey takes me back to the failure page every time. Any idea how to restart the passkey addition to firefox process? WhatsApp won't work whilst I'm hung up in limbo between the two apps.

I thought half my apps were gone randomly, then I realized they are all the ones that were web pages Saved to Home Screen, by Firefox! I'm very upset because there's no way I can remember all of them, how can I restore?? Android, no desktop fixes please!

Can high resources eatin' (maybe graphics, IDK) Ads, for Me in the Webside embedded and (sometimes) with 'movie' like movement decorated, automatically get blocked?

My phone runs slow, 'even' with just 1 Tab open and only Firefox Mobile App on the phone active.

Sorry, I can't see the field I type in currently, maybe I writ a bad layout right now, but content matters XD.

I use corporation's websites to find its workers phone numbers. Websites for all regions around the country have the same layout but sometimes frames with names, adress and phone numbers are individualy designed.

I use mobile browser on Galaxy S series smartphones. When I mark phone number it is not recognized by any dialer. When I try the same on other browser i.ex. Brave it recognize it without any problems. No matter how web frame is designed.

I guess this is an issue for Mozilla developers to check out. Personally I dont see any custom settings to change it.

I said it all in the in the opening statement... What else am I meant to say?????????? It worked fine 2 weeks ago..? But now forget it!!!!!!! What has changed....you must know ... So don't ask me just fix it!!!!!!

Logged into Mozilla, Sync now does nothing, "Last synced: never" Also crashes frequently all since last update.

I have noticed that for the past several months Firefox for Android begins draining my battery after being installed for around 2 weeks. I'm using a Google Pixel 7 (128GB) running Android 14 (AP1A.240405.002) in the UK.

At first, I thought this was being caused by an add-on, so I reinstalled without add-ons and slowly started enabling them day by day until I caught the culprit (which if I recall correctly was Dark Reader). However, even after I disabled the Dark Reader add-on the problem persisted, and no matter how many times I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, the background battery drain issues would eventually come back after ~2 weeks of being installed.

At present I have only three add-ons enabled in the browser: ClearURLs, Decentraleyes, and uBlock Origin. I have used these add-ons in the browser for years without any issues.

It's now got the point where I am so fed up with this issue and the need to constantly reinstall that I will be using a different browser for the time being until this is fixed. I really want to use Firefox as I use it on all my other devices, but this is too much of an issue for me to ignore.

I've included screenshots of my phone's battery consumption whilst I'm asleep, and whilst I'm watching Youtube on my TV over lunch. Both of these are times I'm not using Firefox.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same issue as previously posted below. I am on a Google pixel 7 pro.

"On youtube mobile site or a reddit video, when I click the bottom right button to fullscreen the video, a message pops up that says 'entering fullscreen mode' (with a firefox logo on the left of the message) and then firefox closes and I'm at my android home page

This seems to happen when I watch videos in a new instance. If I reopen firefox to the video and then try fullscreen again, it goes full screen no problem. So basically it's annoying and happens when I try to watch any video full screen for the first time.

Is this a known bug? Wasn't an issue on my old phone (I just got the galaxy s23). "

When i use mozilla in android 13 tablet, and i click on the 3-dot menu while the address bar is set to appear in bottom of screen, i cannot see the full 3-dot menu neither can i scroll to the end of it -only half od it appears. When the address bar is set at the top of the screen,the problem does not exist in landscape view. Please fix it

This screen displays brackets in the corners defining the corners of a square in the middle of the screen. You cannot pinch it to make it larger or smaller or smaller. If you scroll up on the windows it closes Mozilla. The only way to get rid of it to use the browser normally is to reboot my Samsung phone.

I'm having a problem with playing videos on websites. When I click the expand to full screen button about half the time the full screen video comes up for half a second and then the window shrinks down to a small square on the bottom right-hand corner of my screen. Sort of like when the youtube app minimizes a video. This window is unclickable and also everything at or below it in android is unclickable while it's there. If I click the window button on android and swipe the firefox app up to close it and restart it, Firefox doesn't even close and I can still hear sound from the video. I have to select on the Firefox app again which will restore the full window and then click the full screen button one more time and it will work. This issue is happening on every website I play video on on the Firefox app and it is extremely irritating. I'm about ready to switch to another app if this can't be solved, but Firefox is the only browser that allows ublock origin so I don't want to do that. Can anyone help?

I have no idea what is happening... But after restarting, clearing my cache, making sure I have data and it is working for other apps... Still no results.

No matter what, whether I try to type in a URL, click on a link in the google app, or refresh a page I already have open, the app doesn't even attempt to load a page or throw up an error. Just a blank background, no loading bar, no error messages, and no redirects...

The bug is when im browsing website like a payment page, when i switching between the apps and return to payment page, the firefox will refreshing the page automatically without asking any permission and payment will get fail error. Until recently (sorry, I don't know which version I upgraded from), entering fullscreen mode when playing back video (such as YouTube) would automatically force landscape mode, even with auto-rotation disabled. Now, there seems to be no way for me to enter landscape mode while playing back a video, without enabling auto-rotation (which I otherwise always keep disabled).

I realize that the desired behavior here can be subjective, but at least it would be nice if there is/would be a way of configuring this behavior?

I'm on Android 13 (Oxygen OS 13 on OnePlus Nord 2T), with Firefox version 112.2.0 (release April 24 on the play store).

About 90% of the time, when I try to go to powerball.com on my android (12), it displays a message that "The request is blocked".

I don't know what the issue is but it's incredibly frustrating when I'm trying to check my numbers and I can't access this site.

What can I do to fix this?

I'm having an issue with Firefox on Android. On certain websites (e.g., Yahoo News, Calscape.org, Google search results--with Goggle Search Fixer add-on enabled), I can scroll down the page without issue, but scrolling slowly back up toward the top of the page with downward drags of my finger is only responsive half of the time. That is, I can only scroll back up with every-other downward swipe/drag of my finger. This odd behavior does not happen with other mobile browsers (I'm on Android 13 and using a Galaxy A53 5G). Any suggestions?

On the moble browser for android I can't get websites to change from being in dark mode. I have made sure dark mode is off on the browser and the system. I have tested the same sites on other browsers to make sure it was not the sites. The browser and system are up to date.

I'm using Android 13 and Firefox is updated to the latest update. When I Google something and select an image, Firefox freezes and I either have to reload the page and the image will load or I have to close & reopen the app and switch to the Images tab. This is on the main Google search page. Images selected in the Google Images tab work as expected.
