Firefox for android is asking for a pin but I am sure I have never created a pin for Firefox and it does not accept an empty. It also does not appear to have aplace for pin creation. I found a support notr that talked about windows credentials, but I am currently on android and my main computer is Linux. How do I find out what pin it wants?

bold textI'm not good with computer stuff and like setting up stuff is there an auto set up or can you like is there a way for you guys to set it up for me my account was private cause I've been having nothing but issues writing over writing getting logged out of my emails on my phonemails my Firefox settings being changed please help my email is [email address]. I don't have any idea what to do. I hard factory reset and on the reboot its says an Unauthorized attempt was made to factory reset set by phone. I seen my wifi password as an available wifi network alongside my booster and router. I live in the country and only my network Is always available. help me

I'm trying to remove over 500 passwords saved in FF, I removed it on PC and it disappeared from all connected Win clients. But I can't remove it from Android - they are still in FF & Lockwise. Tell me then, why sync works between Win clients but Android client ignores deletion of passwords?

I keep getting these notifications, and because they relate to Bitwarden" I'm very reluctant to just click on the "accept" button in the message because of the possibility of a scam and the exposure it may create.

Is the notification genuine? How do I know? How can I update Firefox settings to achieve the same result without responding to the notification?

Firefox on Android won't display pop-ups. I've checked privacy setting but there's no checkbox for a popup blocker. Also tried about:config but didn't find any setting to change. Any ideas on how to be sure Firefox is comfigured to allow popups? I participate on a Zoom webinar and can't start Zoom through Firefox so have to use Chrome.

Hello, I apologise if this information is already available somewhere, but I just couldn't find it.

I recently installed the DuckDuckGo app on Android 12 (Samsung One UI 4.1) which has a feature that blocks trackers from other apps.

While using Firefox it seems to have found and blocked a tracker simply called "Adjust" (this is where usually a brand name to whom the tracker belongs would be, e.g. google or amazon). It asks for: Device model, OS compilation number, type of connection, screen pixel density, country, OS version, unique ID, app name, CPU name, cookies, device language, post code, device make/brand, app version, e-mail address, android advertisement ID.

I don't really know what to think about all this, but I wouldn't expect firefox to track me in any way, I've trusted mozilla so far, and am inclined to continue to do so, but I'm confused by this and don't know what to make of it. The DuckDuckGo app doesn't really offer more information, and I might try asking them as well, idk. Googling didn't really help me, so I'll be thankful for any answer.

Can some one please help me by blocking my ex from logging into my Google, and fb accounts, and controlling all of my evices. He turns on and of mydata. Hedoesso much I don't even pick my phone up to use it because I know everything will be negative . Won't be able to text, nocalling . Because he hasall of my permission tured off but by his phone. I have a long standing Firefox account - this one. I have also recently joined Firefox relay, using a different email - the one I most want to be able to mask - however I am trying to link these two accounts, for many reasons but also because I am trying to add my other email as a backup/recovery to this account, but I keep being denied because it's an 'existing account'. Please help. (Also an unrelated but very unhelpful thing: Mozilla websites, and ONLY Mozilla websites, are currently rendering in plain html and it's *really* confusing and unhelpful. I've killed all my as blockers and it doesn't seem to be any of them. Any advice?)

Just today all my bookmarks , every other site that I try, shows "address not found" and Also each site shows "Your connection is not secure".

I have only 1 add-on, UBlock Origin. Whether this is OFF or ON doesn't matter.

HTTPS-Only Mode : OFF or ON doesn't matter.

I've also re-installed Firefox Android, no change.

Hi. After your most recent update to the FireFox app on the playstore, I have noticed that the location setting on my app came enabled. Upon clearing it, it tells me that doing so will decrease the functionality of the app, and when I clear the app data the location permission is re-enabled. Is there anyway I can fix this? This is a big privacy concern for me.

I Have gone thru absolutely every menu setting visible in FF for Android... and there has been no current findable answer provided in the forums. What's the deal? This should be easy. If it's just no longer an option, please say so. There's Nothing under "Enhance Tracking Protection" whether OFF or "standard"; Nothing under "Customization"; Nothing under "Private Browsing"; Nothing under "HTTPS ONLY" -- Not when enabled or Disabled; Nothing under "Site Permissions"; Nothing under "Exceptions". I generated an account recovery key via my phone after syncing with my desktop PC and expected to be able to either send the code to my pc or access it from my pc.

I need to change my proxy setting on my android device. This means I need to change the proxy setting in FireFox on my android device. It seems that the proxy setting are no longer available. How do I change proxy setting in FireFox 105.2.0 for android?

Can somebody sane please explain to me why firefox developers haven't implemented a smooth sync when there are Master Password's involved?

I use firefox in my desktop and in my phone and I can't get the passwords to sync due to my desktop having a master password (which firefox itself proposes to have set so that my passwords are safe) and Android not having that and so it can't decrypt the desktop passwords.

How difficult it is to make syncing between Desktop and Android firefoxes smooth when you have set a master password for the desktop version?

Even if FF for Android is not using a Master Password why doesn't desktop FF ask for the master password, the proceed to decrypt the passwords in the background and then using sync (which as mozilla says transmits passwords in encrypted form) send them to the mozilla servers? I mean even if I haven't set a Master Passowrd the passwords submitted to Mozilla servers during syncing are always stored decrypted in some way right?
