Since the last update (I know that Firefox DE is a beta/semi-nightly release, I just want to know if this is my mistake or a bug), only my first firefox window has address bar, all the other windows don't. And when tabs are vertical, the rest of the windows don't even have a title bar. (This behavior doesn't apply to newly created windows) Also, non-primary windows also lose the capacity to resize the vertical tab bar. ¿Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?

I really can't add to my Summary other than it's a fairly recent issue, started in May 2026, possible April. About.config is set to False. I hope some has a solution - it happens when I'm dealing with live incidents.

I had about 15 pinned tabs - unloaded - that I was saving for a research project. I shut my PC down and when powered up for the next session - all the pinned tabs were gone. I never thought to record the tabs via screen shot or something.

Is this normal - what are the limits of pinned tabs ? Do they expire in a day ? When the PC powers down ? When Firefox updates ?

Numerous tabs appear whenever I open Mozilla. I have used them at some time in the past, but never all on one occasion. SOME WERE LAST USED AT LEAST SEVEN MONTHS AGO.

Related may be that sometimes when I follow a link on one website, the destination appears on my screen as a new opening of Mozilla. The previous site(s) are completely obscured

In Firefox 152.0.5 under Windows 10, when I hover the mouse pointer over a tab, a balloon pops up showing the text that is on the tab. I find this extremely annoying as I can read what is on the tab. I have searched on the Mozilla site, and I have searched with Google, all to no avail. How can I disable those redundant popup balloons?

mozilla won't save my previous windows and tabs even though i have that check marked in the settings. it's been like this for months. to keep them i've had to keep my pc on for moths. help, i'm thinking of leaving Mozilla because of this, it's incredibly frustrating to lose all my work every time.

I regularly use a website which intercepts command-option-up and command-option-down for its own navigation. This is a central part of my workflow with this website, and without it it becomes completely unusable.

After updating to Firefox 140.0.4, these shortcuts are now used by the browser to switch tabs. I have not found any way to configure this. Am I missing some obscure way to do this or is this just impossible?

I imagine this change was made to support vertical tabs, but I'm not using those, so the command-option-left and command-option-right shortcuts make more sense for my horizontal setup. (I don't use those shortcuts either, though- I use ctrl-tab and ctrl-shift-tab!)

Hello everyone, Until a few days ago, Firefox version 140.12.0esr included a button to "Save windows and tabs of the current! session." Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available in the current version, 152.0.1. However, for many Firefox users, saving the windows and tabs of the current! session is absolutely essential. What options are there now to resolve this issue? I would appreciate any suggestions! If there is no way to restore this feature, I, too, will unfortunately have to switch browsers after 20 years as a Firefox user. Many thanks in advance for your help and any information. I saw bunch of threads which suggest to enable "ctrl+tab cycles through tabs in recently used order". It does what I need, but in previous versions I used to press only ctrl+tab. While I was holding ctrl I could iterate over tabs via tab key. After releasing ctrl selected tab was chosen

It differs with current behavior where you press ctrl+tab and after releasing all keys pop up with tabs is still be viewed and you need manual action with space/enter/mouse click to open selected tab

Is there any way to use only ctrl+tab without any manual actions required like it was back in the days where after releasing the control key selected tab is opened?

Hi, since the latest update, whenever I'm in a tab (e.g. email or personal website) and I go to upload files, all tabs show the last location of the last upload from any tab whereas previously they showed the location of the relevant tab. E.g. on a tab for my website it would previously open the location of my website files and if I switch to my email tab it would open the location of my email attachments. Now it doesn't seem to remember the loaction by individual tab it just starts in the location of the used loaction across all tabs.

Not sure if that makes sense, it's very annoying as I have to keep searching the location again between tabs.

Can this be changed back please so it remembers locations on a individual tab basis and not globally?

There are many tabs open in the firefox window. I'm closing the firefox. I'm opening it again.All tabs opened during the previous opening disappear.Either a new page or a single tab opens. The settings are set to "Open previous windows and tabs" (Image 1)

I go to "Firefox View" ---"Open tabs". (image 2) I see 2-5 windows there.In this case, there are 3 windows.WINDOW 1 is my main window with the tabs that should have been saved and opened when firefox was launched again. I close all tabs from unnecessary windows with a cross.Only window 1 remains. But when restarting, an empty or different window opens again.And again, there are a lot of unnecessary and incomprehensible windows on the list. Previously, a window with restored tabs from the previous session always opened. Yes, I'm a bit peeved at this because whenever I am stupid enough to close Firefox, I lose all my tabs. And it ain't just a couple tabs.

Hi, Since the search open tabs function is part of the overflow button in a horizontal tab layout, when you switch to vertical tabs, you lose that search function. Is there a way to add it to my vertical tab layout? Thanks, Scott

I'd like to report an issue with a recent Firefox update.

Since one of the latest updates, the "Close all duplicate tabs" option has disappeared from the tab list menu (the menu opened via the small arrow on the right side of the tab bar). I've looked for it elsewhere in the UI and haven't been able to find it.

System info:

Firefox version: 154.0 (64-bit) Operating system: Windows 10 Professional, version 22H2 (OS build 19045.7663)

This feature is particularly important to me because I regularly keep a very large number of tabs open — often several hundred, sometimes over a thousand — and being able to close all duplicates at once was essential for managing and cleaning that up.

A couple of things make me think this may be an unintentional regression rather than a deliberate change: Mozilla's own support article on the Tab overview menu still lists "Close all duplicate tabs" as part of this exact menu, and I couldn't find any mention of its removal in the release notes for the two most recent versions (153.0.3 and 154.0). That said, I haven't found an existing bug report that matches this, so I wanted to check here first.

I'd really appreciate help with the following:

Why has this option disappeared from the tab list menu? Is this an intentional change, or a bug/regression? Has the feature simply moved somewhere else in the UI? If it's a bug, is there already a tracked report I should follow, or should I file one?

We have noticed that none of our tabs are saved in Firefox anymore, and the settings require a specific number of saved tabs, which can vary from one session to the next.

Please allow users to select which tabs to save. For instance, a check box ☑ system would be very helpful.
