Spectrum.net has changed their login page as of March 17, 2021. I am unable to login under Firefox and get Spectrum error 'IDID-1060'. I tried Edge and Chrome browsers with no problems. I contacted Spectrum and they say it's a Firefox issue. I've tried removing extensions, clearing caches, starting in Firefox 'safe mode', disable VPN but nothing works! I would prefer NOT to reset Firefox as I don't want to lose my changes. I'm on version Firefox 86.0.1 and Windows 10 20H2. Does anyone else have this problem or can suggest other troubleshooting ideas?

Hello, Is there a way to use a different theme on one machine (light) and use the dark theme on a different computer but still be able to sync the data?

I have tried this from a previous question https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1242818

Set services.sync.prefs.sync.lightweightThemes to False, but this does not work.

Did it on both macOS machines, closed and restarted the browser, and changing the theme on one browser ends up changing the theme on the other machine.

Is there any way to have to separate themes on two different machines?

I have used Firefox as my default browser for years and I've been very happy with it. Now it seems as though I'm almost being "pushed" into using Edge with Windows 10. What I need is some encouragement to continue to use Firefox. That means I need some very good reasons to keep using Firefox instead switching to Edge as my default browser.

Having said that I just tried to italicize the word "pushed" in the paragraph above and it did not work. Then I tried to make it bold and that didn't work either. Does anyone know the answer to either of these questions?

Last question. Is it possible to get Google out of my life?? Everywhere I turn it's Google, Google, Google ....

Hey, I made Firefox browser my main browser on my new MacBook Pro. Now I have a Problem with the Colors on my BenQ SW2700. The colors are not the same in the browser as in my finder. or any other software to show my pics. Can you help me?

I have selected the option "Restore previous session". Normally, it works fine, but if the last Firefox window closed before was in private mode, it doesn't - instead I get the last sessions of this private window. I'm not quite sure, but I think this behavior was different (= Firefox restores always the tabs from the last non-private window) before one of the last updates.

Microsoft's latest screwup of it's monstrosity called "Windows 10" has left me with no bookmarks, stored passwords, or any other information stored with Firefox. How do I recover this info? Please use simple words as I am NOT "computer friendly".

I want the Firefox Browser to automatically ask to save my login details for the websites I visit, however each time I close the browser, I must then manually go to "Logins and Passwords" --> "Options" --> "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" the next session for it to save my login details again. That is, the "ask to save" box seems to uncheck itself each time I closer my browser. I did not have this issue on my previous computer using Firefox so I'm unsure why it's happening now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When I ask for the weather in my local area, or I'm looking for a specific local business, it gives me info for Columbus, OH. I don't live there. I live in Simpsonville, SC. I contacted Norton because someone said it could be my VPN. They said it wasn't their issue. What could be the problem? I've only had this problem for the last few days. I have Firefox on a HP computer with windows 10 home. It is now starting to act up. Firefox will not open my gmail account or even let me search for Google to get to my emails that way. It will not open, not even the search result. Is something wrong with Firefox? Should I uninstall it? I get no error message.

Several days ago I got a message indicating that a firefox update could speed up my computer browsing, so I eventually gave permission for it, though changing my systerm makes me nervous. Now, after my computer was not letting me do anything for an extended period, today, I restarted it, and Avast vpn had been installed. Are you partnering with avast? Did this come with the Firefox update? I had a difficult time getting rid of their antivirus software before I could install the software I actually paid for from Eset. I don't want anything interfering with my antivirus software. Please advise. How can I make it go away? I've liked using Firefox and don't want to have to give it up, but am suspicious of this intrusion.

A couple of weeks ago I started seeing a screen apparently belonging to Cloudflare when i tried to log in to my Constant Contact account. It just slowed sign in but had no apparent effect and I assumed it was something on their end. Then just a day or so ago it caused me to be unable to access my account returning a message that my credentials were incorrect on the login page. I call Constant Contact support and They have no idea what I am speaking about and suggested a private window. That worked for a while but seems to have failed and I had to go to another browser most recently.

I don't see Cloudflare in my installed apps in Windows 10 and it is not an extension in Firefox that I can find which all the other web search have pointed to. Where did this come from and more importantly ow do I get rid of it?

Since "upgrading" to Firefox version 86.0.1 I have been unable to log into my ASUS router to change the password. I had to manually input it the 1st time as the "upgrade" didn't import any save logon's. I have also tried copy/paste from a text file to ensure the user name/password were correct as well as resetting the router to factory settings.

I have turned on preferences General -> Startup -> Restore previous session AND Warn you when quitting the browser. Firefox does neither of these. My session never gets restored, my pins are never saved and it never warns me when I quit.

All the troubleshooting examples I find on these support pages are for much older versions of Firefox and 3-4 years old.

I just installed Firefox and found that the browser looks washed out compared to other browsers - Safari, Chromium, Vivaldi, Opera and Brave. The whole things - the browser itself and the web content. Here is an example of my Adguard Home page. Firefox on the left, Chromium on the right. Im using an Apple Mac Mini M1 and the Firefox version is 86.0.1 running the ARM 64 (universal) version. Is there anything I can do? I have tried the old trick of diabling hardware acceleration and it makes no difference whatsoever.

When i try to go on addons.mozilla.org it says the connection timed out and sometimes it says i cant access due to page not being secure and some problems with certificate, i tried with another browser but its same thing.
