This happens only on Firefox and Firefox Developer Edition on one of my PCs and not the other. Firefox is version 113.0.2 (64-bit) and DE is 114.0b9 (64-bit)

I'm using the latest version of firefox, at the moment i had a trouble. Text of timeline zone of my facebook hidden, first timeline unhide but other timeline hidden. I'm restart my firefox, remove and resync ... but this error continue. I'm try other browser as chrome, brave no error. How to fix it? my older asus laptop had a critical failure and I needed to get a new computer and to my understanding when you have had a Firefox account for as long as I have you should be able to sync your whole account to a new device to my dismay that is not the case and I have years of bookmarks and history on my account urgent fix would be appreciated.

When I log in, refresh, or just open up the website, I'm met with an error message attached below. I use a HP Pavillion Laptop, Windows 11, and am on version 113.0.2 (64-bit). I've tried the following: - Make sure spotify is up to date - Restart my router - Make sure 'Widewine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.' is enabled. - Allow Firefox to play DRM controlled content - Disabled my plugins - Tested this on other browsers (they work) - Made sure I'm not using a VPN. Oddly enough, Spotify's web player seems to function alright in Private mode and the app is fine too. I will try any all solutions presented, please.

Summary: Firefox fails to load many sites, and some will kill the entire browser.

I recently updated from Ubuntu 22.10 to 23.04, which included an upgrade to Firefox. I originally had trouble with tab/window dragging operations causing the entire desktop to crash.

Removing the snap and installing from the Firefox maintained PPA fixed this issue, but a number of others remain. (Detail on this part over here on the ubuntu forums if interested)

Now many google sites simply show the loading error for ever and never recover. Some URLS can kill the browser completely. For example, this one from the Mozilla website: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-show-spinning-wheel-never-finish-load The error message is attached.

I am happy to perform more tests and provide more diagnostic if it will help. That same URL works fine from the chromium browser on the same desktop systems,as does every other site I've had issues with.

i've facing this issue for weeks. i've completely abandoned windows server 2019 as daily os and installed windows 10 with latest patches. installed firefox and firefox developer as usual and did my same settings for years. but videos can't be played on reddit, twitter and linkedin. i tried to refresh browser, disabled addons (only ublock and enhancer for youtube is installed) to be sure. but still got nothing. in my laptop with same addons and same privacy & security settings could play videos.

My laptop died but I have been able to rescue the SSD and turn it into a USB connected external drive. I can see all data from my old PC.

I have tried to copy all of my User, Local Apps Data Mozilla Profile data folders to my new Laptop but the data does not appear when I fire up Firefox on the new laptop.

The old laptop folder was c:\Users|Phil, the new laptop is C:\Users\Phill {setup of new PC added a second L to my name}

Is this an issue ?

6/30 - I GET RESPONSES BUT NO LEGIT EMAIL ADDRESS TO RESPOND

I have lost my personal bookmarks list on the Mozilla Firefox Home Page. I now have numerous bookmarks, some which were in my personal list and some that I may have used in the past, but deleted them. Others are from an unknown source. Maybe a Firefox generated list. They aren't all familiar. Can Someone help me find my personal list that existed before the last update and restore that list.

I've been using firefox for last 15 years now to do my online banking with RBC. As of 2 weeks ago it has failed to open online banking on the RBC website. Google chrome however works. When speaking to RBC customer support they say it is a problem with firefox and will likely go away once firefox updates to a newer version.

I installed Firefox at work and set my personal email address as secondary to my business address. Well, I liked Firefox so much that I decided to use it at work and at home - and I removed my personal email from my business account. Unfortunately Firefox is still recognizing my personal email as the secondary address for my business account and I am completely incapable of making a new account. My bookmarks and saved passwords are all different between home and work. I NEED two individual accounts, just like how I was using my browsers with Chrome.

I am having a problem with the Audio and Closed Caption The CC leads the Audio by 40 seconds to a minute. Very frustrating... I seem to only have this problem with HULU and Prime Video. All other streaming platforms work great. I am using Windows 7 64 bit

I have an issue whereas Firefox 113.0.2 does not display website correctly using Win 8.1e or Win 10 Pro. Firefox 113.0.2 does not display website correctly The site has a Date and Time line with a colour line underneath it, "The current AU EST Date and Time in Tanilba Bay Australia is - June 1st, 2023 2:34:07 PM" "PC-Bug Fixer draws the line" that refuses to show centred.

Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Bing, etc. all show these items correctly, i.e. centred under the headers above it, but not Firefox 113.0.2.

I have deleted all the History, cache(s), etc., but reloading still fails to show these items as being centred.

Any Ideas please on what I have forgotten to do to fix this anomaly please?

I go to youtube, open a video and the audio plays just fine, except there is no visual. The video says its playing and I can hear it normally but I can't see anything. Subtitles show up, but the place where the video is supposed to be is just blank, the same as the background of the page. Weirdly if I click the settings button on youtube, the one next to the sign in or account button, the video will display as long as that menu is up. If I close the menu the video goes away.

I have refreshed firefox, deleted and reinstalled firefox, removed all my extensions, turned hardware acceleration off (and then back on when it didn't work) as was recommended in a similar post a few years ago, and restarted my computer. Youtube still won't show me a video. It works fine on chrome, just not firefox.

I uploaded a screenshot of an ad, which doesn't play but shows the outline of the video player, a screenshot of a normal video where the area the video should be in is just more indistinct background, a screenshot of the video appearing normally when I have the settings menu open, and a screenshot of the captions loading properly over an empty void.

Edit: I installed the Enhancer for Youtube extension? Which I haven't ever installed beofre? And now Youtube works? Why

2nd Edit: Its broken again. I changed literally nothing, just restarted my computer for an update but im getting blank screens again

Usually when I start my browser for the first time, I have the Firefox homepage only. For two weeks ago, suddenly an extra tab show up when starting: A page with a commercial for installing "Avast Online Security & Privacy (Add to Firefox-button)".

I use Avast, but I don't want this add-on. And I certainly don't want that extra tab every time I start my pc.

I have three times searched for a solution all over in the Mozilla & Avast settings and on the net: I should go to "Add-ons and themes" - "Extensions" - and on the list "Manage Your Extensions" I should remove this add-on - but it's not there of course, because I didn't install it.

So how do I remove this tab from showing at start-up? (Google Search can't help) Appauling that someone put this tab on my pc in the first place. Both Avast and Mozilla have other ways to communicate with me about that add-on, if needed. Now I had to shut it down every day for two weeks, because I was way too busy to write you until now.

Hope you can help me.
