I am running the latest updates to Windows 10 Pro x64. One of my monthly bills is paid at

1) https://e.synchronyfinancial.com/

which, in Brave, redirects to

2) https://lowes.syf.com/accounts/login

Inputting either link in Brave gets me to the finish line but the first link above fails in Firefox with the "Secure Connection Failed" message and dumps me at https://www.synchrony.com/accounts/. The second link does the same.

Is there any way to troubleshoot the problem?

I HAVE tried shutting-down Malwarebytes but the result was the same.

This is the only site on which I have encountered this issue. All that I can determine at the moment is that that certificate is from DigiCert and the expiration date is in 2025, i.e., this is not a Symantec cert.

I don't use Google Chrome browser nor do I use MS Edge. After using the Mosaic browser, I switched to Netscape Navigator, then to Mozilla, and, finally to Firefox. I am not looking forward to migrating to another browser. ;-)

Several instances of this "verification.exe" malware appear on download history when firefox is opened as shown. Remove from history or clear downloads doesn't eliminate them. They reappear whenever firefox is opened.

Suggestions to eliminate this nuisance welcome.

latest 124.0.2 causing severe problems, it will near instantly bloat to fill all RAM and SWAP even in safe mode causes system load over 24! only solution is to reboot very problematic on for ex: https://epg.pw/xmltv/epg_CA.xml hard to get a screencap since system is nearly totally unresponsive. So I'm having issues playing 4K videos fully on one YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ClearviewDriving

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

When I right click the taskbar and press close Firefox, here comes the interface just as the screenshot uploaded. The blue close button doesn't response no matter how I click it and the Firefox's taskbar is flashing yellow. This bug only occurs on the first window of Firefox and only when user right click the taskbar.

It has been a long time for me wishing that some updates would be released soon to fix this issue, while noting happens. Or this bug is only for me?

I am unable to get printing to work correctly using Firefox with Epson POS TM-T20 thermal printers we have a work.

We're currently running Firefox on Debian 12. I've tried both the ESR version that comes with the Debian repository and the latest Firefox as a flatpak.

When printing to the receipt printer, the only thing that is printed is the left-hand most part of the logo and a little part of the text and this occurs towards the right-hand side of the paper. I've changing all of the settings, resetting the settings for the print in about:config, but nothing seems to work.

I'd love to get this working so that staff could use Firefox. I'm attaching an image of what the print job looks like and a screenshot of what the print-preview shows.

I am having a very frustrating problem that is driving me huts.

Just the other day I was commenting in a text box like this one and I hit caps lock on my keyboard and a little grey box I had never seen before appeared with a locked lock. Then when I hit caps locks again on my keyboard an unlocked locked appeared in the little grey box. But it stays in cap locks and no matter what I do it won't go back to lower case. And when I say nothing shuts it off I mean its doing that on every site I try to comment on. Shutting down the browser does not help. And the only way I can get caps lock off is to actually shut down my whole computer and basically start all over.

You community volunteers are the best and quickest help I can get so I went straight to you for help.

This has been happening for about a year now, I followed the guide and tried the troubleshoot mode and my tabs still crashes.

We still use some Dell 13g servers equipped with idrac 8. When I'm trying to launch the virtual Console the window opens up but nothing shows. This used to work fine in previous versions of Firefox. I can't tell from which version it stopped but it's not long ago. Also idrac 9 console works fine in Firefox When trying to open console idrac 8 in Chrome it works fine Any idea what could be causing it? Any config switch to tweak?

I am trying to log on to my account at SketchUp. At the login page i hit get started and a black page come up except in the top left corner is typed "Firefox not responding" the page hangs a few moments then it takes me back to SketchUp login. I have not had any recent updates done or required since last logged in and that was yesterday all worked well.

A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. I've been having problems with some websites not displaying content, others displaying error messages. So have been going through the Troubleshooting Mode and diagnostic process.

The cause is the MS CoPilot extension for Firefox.

Useful in other ways as I discovered several other extensions I don't need, hence have remained disabled.

Hi, i just got a new laptop (Asus Zephryus G16, 2560 x 1600 screen) and after installing Firefox there is a thin white border to the left of the screen when running in fit screen. This problem is not present when in a windowed mode or in F11 full screen.

I tried updating the Intel Arc drivers but this did not fix the problem. Changing to compatibility mode also did not fix te problem.

PS: in the uploaded screenshots it is quite dificult to see the white line(because the background is also white), but when the image is viewed in a new tab it is visible.

Hello there i use wp.pl for mailing and after i stay on the page for too long the browser lags and it starts to use a lot of memory like from 4GB to even 8GB

I'm running Firefox 102.4.0 ESR (32 bit) on a Win-7 (32 bit) PC.

It works fine. I visit a LOT of websites, it works fine.

Until just now. I'm trying to bring up namecheap.com (a domain registrar) and I'm getting this message:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.namecheap.com. security library failure. Error code: SEC_ERROR_LIBRARY_FAILURE

I'm not given any option to alter any FF settings or to otherwise create an exception to "trust" this site to be able to access it.

I've read where changing security.pki.crlite_mode (currently 3) to something else (like 0) and I've tried that, and unless I have to close and restart FF for that to take effect (which I have not done) then that setting doesn't fix the issue.

What exactly is going on here? Why is only THAT SITE giving me problems?

For about 6 months now, I've been having a strange problem with Firefox leaving behind ghost entries on the Win 11 taskbar.

I have a laptop attached to a dock which is connected to multiple monitors. If I have a FF window open on one of those external monitors and disconnect from the dock, all the tabs that were open in that FF window will become ghost entries on the taskbar. (see attached image).

It doesn't matter if I close FF entirely, these entries remain until I restart the computer. If I click on one of them, it opens up a brand new, blank FF window.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what might be going on? I tried doing some investigating a few weeks back and I remember finding something in the task manager about COM Surrogate that seemed connected, but I didn't get beyond that.

This has been happening to me with recent updates of Firefox, and I am very close to dumping a browser that I have used for years because of it. I go to load pages and it just sits there and spins and spins. In the time I take to open another browser like Chrome and copy and paste the exact same links into Chrome, where the download of the web page is practically instant. I go back to Firefox and it is still spinning and it is just ridiculous. I have no clue what would be causing this. After it finally loads a page, it seems fine on subsequent loads of pages.

I was playing on this free site called REPLAYPOKER, and it said I was blocked because of something called CLOUDFLAIR, can you tell me what this is please?

It totally blocked me and shut me out of the game

What should I do?

Is Cloudflair a virus? Should I go into the registry and remove it?
