This isn't the first time this has happened. After each occurrence, I have to completely uninstall the browser and reinstall it from scratch. This means I have to reopen all my tabs, which is very annoying. In Chrome, I have had a large number of tabs open for many years and it works fine.

With Mozilla, something terrible is happening... I have many tabs open in Mozilla, and there comes a moment when, upon launching the browser and opening two or three tabs, Mozilla starts consuming up to 10 gigabytes of RAM. If I open a few more tabs, the browser crashes. I don't need to open 50 or 100 tabs, just 7-8-10 tabs are enough to make the browser crash. Moreover, if I open a new tab and go to google.com, the browser takes a very long time to load, even if it's the second tab.

This problem has happened before. I don't do anything with the browser, just visit sites like YouTube.

Clearing the cache and other recommended actions do not yield positive results. This is very annoying. Mozilla is my first and favorite browser, which I have been using for almost 20 years. I wouldn't want to uninstall Mozilla.

This has been brought up before, but not with this exact question (not that I could find, at least).

I understand that cookies cannot be synced across devices, but this is not what I am asking for. Is there a way to make firefox sync the list of exceptions? Meaning, only the specified website URL and its status, not the cookies from these sites.

Steps for reproduce:

• Turn ON PC
• Launch Audacious player
• Launch Firefox
• Visit to drupal.org

And I have sound glitches like on radio tuning. From all software, that have sounds: players, browser, messengers. Glitches disappear after restart. I find only 2 sites, that make it: drupal.org and my local bank. With Chrome - no problems.

Without Audacious glitches can be to, but not in 100% of cases.

OS: KDE Neon Plasma 6

in google and in other browsers when you have multiple tabs in a container you have an option to minify all tabs in the container. is there a similar feature for firefox,

I was able to open reddit.com without any problems earlier, but recentrly I'm not able to load it up anymore. The loading screen is eternal and it doesnt show any kind of error (unless it tries to connect for too long like a couple of minutes, then the error does shows up). The site still sends me notificarions through the browser though. Any other site loads up without a problem. I tried to use methods mentioned in the help article (turned off proxy, turned on network.dns.disableIPv6, deleted cookies and cache). In other browsers (Edge, for example) reddit.com loads just fine. Please help me if you can.

Well, since I changed to a new computer with Win 11, videos on Facebook don't play right. They are videos that are posted by various people and real entities. They are not smooth. They start to play and immediately pause then jump forward then pause and jump forward. If I copy the link and go to Chrome, paste the link and play the videos, they are normal Never did that on my old computer. Any ideas why the videos don't play normal?

I've noticed that when logging into various websites, a random email address not known to me appears in autofill among my usual email addresses. This unfamiliar address is under the @shanreto.com domain and shows up across different websites. My Firefox account is synced between my PC and mobile phone. Both devices are password-protected and under my control at all times, and I have only installed uBlock Origin as an extension.

Could there be any explanation other than the possibility of someone accessing one of my devices through malicious software or similar means?

bold textExperienced Firefox browser session freezes a month or two ago. It seemed that some March/April '24 fixes/patches stabilized the app. They are occurring again with increased frequency. What should I do to avoid this problem or switching to another browser? Thx

When I watch a video not in the full screen mod, the colors are as dark as they're supposed to be (pic 1), but when I enter the full screen mod, the video gets pale/brigher (pic2, compare the dark zones). it's fully connected with hardware acceleration. When it's on videos get pale and when it's off they don't. But I can't turn it off because I also need it for an addon I use as it won't work without it. Someone on the forum here said that turning on layers.force-active might help with a bug of hardware acceleration. I turned it on and it helped - acceleration was on and videos didn't get pale, but then everything got back and now this setting doesn't work anymore. I also opened trouble shooting mode and videos didn't get pale with it even with acceleration on, but I don't know why, becaues when I closed it I deleted all the extensions, turned on acceleration and videos got pale again. And, this problem is only in this browser. This problem really keeps my up at night and I'm so tired of it

Long ago I used to never have to hit F5 to see today's version of a page instead of the cached version, and I do NOT want to clear cache or cookies or history on exit, no, that's not the setting I'm looking for, thanks.

When photos, videos, or websites are linked on a FB comment, it used to display a thumbnail preview below the comment. Now it just shows the link. On mobile, the preview appears. So I'm thinking a setting got changed on the desktop version.

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to correct?

Why you create Mozilla account with sync, if I can't use profile which I saved on my old PC. I change my PC and now I can't use my open tabs as needed, I need to open each tab one by one. Why ??? Why I can't use saved profile on my new PC ??????

When I pull up my settings, it states that my browser is being monitored by my organization. The problem is that my laptop is my private laptop and not connected to any organization, at least, not with my knowledge. When I click on the link associated with the message, it lists two policy names. One policy value is locked with the word true after it. The other policy value is unlocked with the word false after it. What do I do?

I can't find a way to disable tabs scrolling. This is highly confusing, I have to always look for my tabs and do extra clicks and scrolling. This is very distracting. Also those two buttons - "<" & ">" - they occupy extra space. The left one is especially annoying because I expect a "+ new tab" button to be there. I don' want to test/use this new experimental feature, how can I turn this off? Thank you.

I recently facing an issue that the Firefox browser randomly maxed out my RAM and went unresponsive. Like the screenshot below, I am only trying to open Facebook and Instagram, 2 tabs.

I have tried to open about:memory and about:processes to monitor but it just went unresponsive and both the monitoring just hanged.

Have no idea why the Firefox process taking up so much RAM. Need help.

Hello, I have the fallowing issue with Firefox and the sound icon on taskbar in Windows 10 22h2, when Firefox is open and I click on the sound icon on the taskbar in Windows 10 22h2 the sound icon does not open, when Firefox is closed the issue is gone.

Any help to fix this issue would be great.
