When I pressed the "+" symbol at the right side of my tabs with the left mouse button, a new tab opens at the most right place. So far, so easy.

When I pressed the same "+" symbol using the middle mouse button, the new tab opened right beside the active tab. Now, middle mouse button and left mouse button do the same thing.

Work around could be to open the context menu (right mouse button) of a tab, choose "new tab" an get a new tab right beside the tab chosen with the mouse pointer while pressing the right mouse button.

Did something recently change?

I run a local web server from my desktop PC. As the person running it, I access it only from my desktop PC, and only my account has a password. (All other accounts must be created by me, and have very limited access.) When I log in, Firefox whinges that it's not running on https, which is not my fault, as I didn't write this server. I cannot change servers. How can I prevent Firefox whinging about my lack of a secure (despite being local only) connection?

I want to get rid of that url bar that pops up on the left bottom of the screen when you hover over a bookmark, a link on a page, a video... anything that leads to another web address. It disappears when you hover over it and changes to the right bottom of the screen. It appears when i'm trying to watch videos on sites when i'm in full screen and refuses to go away. I've tried the chrome folder solution posted here and it doesn't work. I've tried many other solutions online and they don't work either.

A few of the things that were supposed to be labeled as they were in the solution were not available on my new version of FF but I found the correct folder to post the chrome folder in regardless. The box to open the profile folder was further down and labeled differently than in the instructions posted from a year or more ago here.

I'm using a fresh install of windows 11 and the latest version of Fire Fox 115.0.2 64bit

For some reason the font seems to have reduced in websites when using Firefox, including BBC and Whatsapp. Zoom is set at 100%, so this isn't the issue. As you can see from the attached example the text in the body of this page is very small. When I use other browsers it is fine.

Hello Firefox, Firefox freezing when viewing image collections and YouTube videos. Firefox on my two laptops is set to automatically update. Caches are frequently cleared and no History kept. Ghostery is connected but says it does not stop content.

An image collection website (Pinterest) frequently sends me emails (Thunderbird) with links to their collections. Thunderbird connects over Firefox. After approximately 10-15 minutes of viewing, the screen freezes. Although the cursor moves it will not select any closing of the webpage etc. Release is only possible with the Task Manager (Control+Alt+Delete) but it is very slow to obtain. The same is true when viewing YouTube videos directly over Firefox. Again it requires the Task Manager to release everything. This situation has been evident for about two months now. However this snag does not occur if I go over Google Chrome to both websites. I will welcome any suggestions since I am not keen to move to Google Chrome. Any query, please advise details. I can't get media keys to stop popping up, even though I've changed the media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled flag to false in about:config.

What do I need to do to turn this off? If I'm using a physical key on my keyboard to change the track, why would I need media controls to popup onscreen and stay in the way for several seconds?

Upon first opening Firefox and loading the homepage, the appearance of the Sponsored Site tiles and Recommended by Pocket section does not look correct. Only after opening an additional tab are they displayed as they should be. The alignment of the tiles is not correct, and text is missing from the Pocket section.

I've attached images showing the first startup/incorrect appearances and the correctly rendered page after opening a new tab. (The red markup was added by myself for demonstrative purposes).

This issue seems to have only occurred recently, and I'm not running any extensions. The issue happens every time I open Firefox (I'm not restoring any previous tabs or sessions). I've tried clearing the startup cache, but that hasn't had an effect. Anyone else had this problem or have any ideas how to fix it?

After last update, I am unable to open or print all of my PDF pages. You can see that they are all present, however they last page is missing every time. I am able to open them using a different browser. I have tried rebooting and clearing the cache, and saving the file, and Firefox still doesn't display the very last page. Please help!

I can log into my firefox account, but I am still blocked from logging into https://addons.mozilla.org/ who do I contact? Is this a ban? Is this an AWS geoblock?

Our IT specialist at UW-Madison is stumped and suggested I reach out to Firefox. He was helping me troubleshoot why Firefox keeps saying it's sending a code to verify my account, but I never receive the code. He has added the "accounts" email to my contacts and I don't know what else to do or try. Any ideas from the community? I need my bookmarks after upgrading to Windows 11 and can't imagine trying to recreate them all.

Has the Autofill Forms option been removed from the latest version of Firefox? I get the opportunity to autofill credit cards but the Forms section seems to have vanished. Am I missing something? Thanks.

As I use Firefox throughout the day, webpages will just stop for a bit. Sometimes its only a few seconds, other times for a few minutes. It is most noticeable when playing videos but does happen at other times as well. During the halt, I can still access Firefox's settings and all menu items. It is just website interactions that stop.

For example, when a halt occurs on youtube, the video will eventually stop, depending on the buffer, and scrolling through the comments won't pull up any more and replies won't load. Then after a few moments, everything will start working again without issue, and all the uncompleted actions (such as opening new replies or trying to go to another page) will execute.

I used to think it was related to my computer's connection to our company's access server, but refreshing my connection through a CMD ipconfig /renewall worked so rarely that I assume it was just coincidental timing.

I also tried turning off hardware acceleration, but that had no positive effect. I'll make a separate post about that issue.

The thing that fixes it every time is odd: launching Chrome. I wanted to make sure it was just Firefox, so I tried launching Chrome, and then Firefox started working immediately. (Spotify still plays when Firefox halts too)

Is there anything I can adjust to keep this halting from happening? I can manage right now, but it is sort of annoying to launch Chrome every time.

AOL on Firefox no longer allows me to type a double 'f'. On-and-Off becomes On-and O for example. The first 'f' appears. The second 'f' erases both! Even names in my Contacts such as Deardorff now appear as Deardor when typed into an email. This happens only on Firefox (not on Safari or AOL app). On any/all fonts. Help!

Firefox PERMANENTLY MUTES those videos.

I can play them, but I get no sound.

I can play these videos on Chrome, Edge, Opera - etc... and still mute and unmute as normal.

However, when I try to UNMUTE on firefox, it prevents me.

This is harming my business.

I want to know how to fix this.

Hi All,

I keep Google messages for web open in a tab.

Normally I see new messages have arrived because the tab title changes to indicate this.

This feature stopped working a few days ago. I now have to keep switching to that tab to see if there are any new messages.

The equivalent for outlook is still working ok.

Any ideas?

I want to remote debug from python script.

In dev tools settings page I have checked: Enable browser chrome and add-on debugging toolboxes Enable remote debugging

And when I check about:config there it also shows: devtools.debugger.remote-enabled: true devtools.debugger.remote-host: localhost devtools.debugger.remote-port: 6000 devtools.debugger.remote-timeout: 20000 devtools.debugger.remote-websocket: true.

When I go to tools > browser tools > Browser toolbox then it asks if I want to allow connection and if I press ok then it works.

However when I run the following python code: import asyncio import websockets

Question: Why does browser toolbox work but python script doesn't?

So just as the title says there is an issue with the binance.us web site and the newest version of Firefox. when you try to type a number like 2.50 into any field the decimal disappears and you end up with 50 not 2.50 if you type 250 into the fields you can go back and add the decimal point so the entry is 2.50 but it's very annoying to have to do this every time.. the previous version of Firefox and all other prior versions did not have this issue
