This just started happening and I'm not sure why.

I access my email via a browser. When i compose an email If I have a .ZIP file that contains a bunch of files. If I want to attach say file # 6 and File # 7 to the email I am composing I would open windows explorer, traverse to the ZIP file location and click on it so it opens in windows Explorer. Then I'd highlight the one or two files I wanted and I'd drag them to the email.

This would typically attach the the files but it no long works - I have a feeling it may be due to windows 98 I hear you guys changed (fixed) how files are processed.

This is awful I now must extract those files to hard disk (of if there's another contained ZIP file within its even more extracting) - I'll this makes so much work and if I forget to delete all the files I execrated I'll run out of space.

Is there I setting that I can set to make it work the way it used to - I don't want to learn another browser but this change has killed my poductivity

I am a Mac user and using a second monitor display. When I move a Firefox window to the second display it doubles in size. I cannot figure out how to get it to display properly (as it displays on my original monitor). Please help.

Cannot get out of the terrible firefox print dialog. Literally no one wants this print dialog, it is a waste of time, and does not support all the printer options. I do not want to have to click "print using the system dialog" every time. Please restore the print.tab_modal.enabled = false functionality immediately. Or better yet get rid of your stupid print dialog.

The arrows for place holders, such as Page Up, on Google News are appearing as large fonts and sometimes upside down. Not sure if it's a local issue or not but I thought I'd report in case it's global. I wouldn't know how to title the search to see the issue has been reported. Forgive me if so.

Edit: So, yeah, I need help getting this tag off. I'm new to Firefox so it could be something obvious I'm missing. I have also tried CTRL+SHIFT+R to reload the page for changes and also closed and reopened my Firefox entirely.

I paid Firefox $28 for unmarked videos. Now the mark, the stamp in the corner of the video, is back. I would like my money back or the non-stamped videos back. Who do I see about that?

Why can't I delete the 32bit Firefox off of my 64bit computer with Windows 10 Programs and feathers? I have been using Firefox for many years and have loved it, but now it it looks like it is moving into this far left stupidity and am thinking of dropping it and it makes me sad. I sure hope that this slide into this socialist evil stops soon! Their are so many good people that have helped develop this program for all of the world and what is happening now would be such a disservice to them. The root problem is that when I try to open a movie in a web browser, I get the message "Oops. Your web browser is no longer supported. " see attached.

1370719 had a response that made no sense to me.

Is there anyway to fix this issue?

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? I'm a little surprised they've taken away the option of choice when it comes to downloading files. But what's most annoying, is the manager opens u and drops down blocking my view of the page, much less that it makes ms stop and think about what I am about to download.

I do not understand the purpose of this. The old way was safer, cleaner and less annoying. How can, or am I able to get that "choice" back?

When searching for a fix I have seen that that there is/was a similar feature in the Edge browser but it can be undone. I feel Firefox users deserve that option.

I am in the process of moving all of our passwords into 1Password. However, I discovered that my wife has her Firefox set to auto login, but can't remember her user name and password. So, although she can use it, she can't change update the password. The fact that on setup, auto login is the default makes this doubly frustrating. So, is there any way to get to the password?

Hello, I was trying to fix this issue on my browser but I was not able to do it. The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Currently, I'm using Firefox version 99.0a1 but I had the same issue on version 97. Also, I have this issue on only one of my PCs. As I said in the subject: - The browser freezes the whole PC and I have to force reboot it. (I already disabled the hardware acceleration) - the recent download item open button does not trigger the opening of the folder. - If I try to download a file, the browser ask me where to save it. But if I try to download another one the browser shows me the directory with path /run/usr/1000/... I tried to delete places.sqlite but I received the same result. ... I have a website that has MP4 video in a HTML5 video player, with subtitles done in the WebVTT format (*.vtt). I just noticed that, when testing my pages locally on my C drive, the subtitles no longer appear on the movies. They do appear on the website (thankfully). Does this mean that lately Firefox has dropped support for local VTT files? Chrome has always ignored local VTTs, for some reason, which is why - until now - I used Firefox to test subtitles off the C drive. Note: If I link the local page to the VTT file on my website, subtitles still do not appear in Firefox. It could be something else, of course, so just need to know if VTTs are now unloadable locally in FF.

I've long used firefox for research using google scholar and science journals to directly import references into endnote. However, since the recent update (firefox v98) direct import of .ris files (endnote) is no longer possible. The only option is to download the file.

There is no option to configure these file extensions in settings, and no prompt asking how to handle them...only where to download.

Please recover this function, as firefox is becoming increasingly unusable (loyal firefox user since 2002).

I asked such a question the day before yesterday, but none answered me I still use window 7 32 bit and I never want to update The new version ( V 98.01 ) is not compatible with Window 7 A black screen is shown just I open the Firefox browser I thought it is virus, but it is not so. Now I am sure of the problem I uninstalled the new version and changed for an old version ( V 80.01 ) and the black screen is never shown The black screen which I complain about= crashing of the browser because it is not covenant to Window 7

2- I changed the update to  (   Check for updates but let you choose to install them )  and the problem is ended but a message about updating still appears in the right corner  need me close each time. 

How can I get rid finally from update message in the toolbar ? In V 80.01 there is no choice ( never check for update )

When I open Facebook with Firefox all of the images in the FB session are blank, and they will not open in the usual manner. Also only about 1/4 of the FB session is displayed.

When I use Edge I have no problems at all, so I have to assume that it is FF and not my computer that is at fault.

Okay that was way longer than I expected short of someone searching the headline their self, but it's the best way to show just exactly what I am seeing.

This started happening a couple of days ago and I do know there have been recent updates to the browser that might have something to do with it.

It's apparently a common, or known, issue, and there is a fix for it for Chrome, but I can find nothing similar for Firefox except some crazy command prompt that I'm not even going to try to attempt,

I've spoken to my IPS twice this week already and everything is good. I don't have any real issue with any other sites and seem to be able to surf normally.

I had thought it was a Youtube issue, maybe it is, but it's obviously an issue people have had before and it seemed to be a network issue in the browser, or as much as I got out of the Chrome fix video.

If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it. If it continues, then I suppose I will have to switch to using Chrome, or only use Chrome for Youtube, or quit Youtube all together.

But the error is consistent, annoying & frustrating when I have to reload (which doesn't seem to help) or switch to another tab (which dosn't always help) just to watch videos.
