I am using a Samsung Chromebook Pro V2, running Debian, and installed Firefox using the Flatpak command "flatpak install flathub org.mozilla.firefox". The Firefox icon appears in the Linux apps group and I have opened Firefox using that icon.

How do I get links in my Linux apps to open Firefox and take me to the URL?

Old phone lost ,Firefox default browser , new phone Firefox is default browser and tried finding saved passwords failed, now trying to find backup and having trouble backing up,cannot find location old folders I follow directions and cannot find what I'm promt to do. Switch is not found. .

The Debian Firefox packages available are only 115.6. Thought it would be nice to have the latest. Grabbed all the dependencies according to the Mozilla web site.

Installed Firefox 121.0 as root and placed folder into /opt, as instructed. Went through all the settings and imported my bookmarks.

Now there is a 121.0.1 upgrade available but my browser won't automagically install the upgrade. Says click here to download. So I do. I get the entire tar.bz2 bundle, which creates a full directory structure, as if I was starting over.

Can I just move a few files from that into the existing /opt/firefox directory to get the upgrade? If so, which ones?

Or, can I move few files from the existing directory into the new version, and replace the whole lot? If so, which ones?

Hello, I bought a new acer laptop that has only installed by default Microsoft edge. Now, It seems that I can't see how to download and install Firefox as my browser by default. It seems that Firefox is not supported by Microsoft edge browser. I need my Firefox browser to my new laptop. I need help please.

Is there a way for me to retrieve my bookmarks? They have followed me through several macbooks, and reinstallations and this is the first time they've gone missing.

There is one site, where my IRA is located, ("mystreeetscape.com:") where I am never able to open my statements or retrieve tax documents. I get the message "Please wait while we retrieve your documents" but the circle just keeps going around forever. This has persisted for quite a while, and I would rather not download and use another browser if Firefox is able to work for this. I have not had this problem with any other bank accounts or financial places - eg: Fidelity is fine, etc.

I downloaded Firefox for my new Mac. I see a Firefox symbol on my desktop. Clicked and moved the thing to my applications.

How do I actually get Firefox to start where I can browse something? I have downloaded it 3 times, and it downloads, and then it just sits there. How do I actually go to Firefox and search for something. I got a search bar ONE TIME, and when I put in the thing I was searching for, I got an immediate message that the system crashed and I should try again. How do I get an actual SEARCH BAR to come up and let me do something? Even now, it is sitting there, asking me to download it again. I don't see the point in constant downloading with no result. Firefox is REALLY IRRITATING to try and use.

My main browser is Google, with Gmail as my email. I have Windows 11 installed.

I am still on windows10..Recently have used firefox much less. Today when tried it says that firefox is running and the new try is (3) which is on the task manager. I'm using this instructions to move my profile from old laptop to new laptop. I've had success with this method in the past, but not today. I copied the files over to my new device, open FF on the new device, and FF just opens as a new installation. What is going wrong?? (I'm going from a Windows 10 laptop to new Windows 11 laptop. (Ugh, I already haaaaaate Windows 11, but that is for another forum!)

I have a folder with multiple files in a Google drive. I want to share the folder with a person in :View only mode" where he cannot copy or download the files (while he is using the firefox browser). How can I do that ?

I tried to download a file and got an error that said "exceeded the maximum number of connections to this server" so I researched it and it told me to type about:Config in the address bad and I would get a configuration page that said "Advanced Preferences". I didn't get that page, I only got a page with a long list of things I didn't understand but I found "http.max-persistent-connections-per-server" and I changed that from 6 to 15. Will that help? I've never ever had problems downloading files or multiple files before. What else should I do so I don't run into this problem anymore? I didn't see anything in Firefox Settings that would help configure the settings.

Some files appeared on my Desktop folder. when i erased them my Tabs and profile got deleted. then when i log in my profile the Files return on the Desktop folder.

my problem is why is this happening?. Firefox was installed on default installation drive, and it has been 8 months or more but only now this is happening.

i don't tweak anything on this browser, just browsing and consuming content.

Hello, please is there any chance to add Firefox download for Linux and aarch64 platform to the download list? The attached image shows that you currently offer a binary package for the aarch64 platform only for Windows. Thank you.
