i am setting up a new laptop and trying to import all my current data from my old pc. Nothing is right. It imported alll the shortcuts on my toolbar from years ago. None of these are the current bookmarks from my old pc. ive tried syncing, importing again, nothing works. my bookmarks on my side bar are years old. I dont have ANY of these on my old pc as i deleted them years ago. what the heck is happening and how do i get my new pc browser to look exactly as my old pc looks. This is very frustrating. I have over 500 bookmarks on my sidebar. it looks like every bookmark i have EVER used. This is ridiculous.

i imported Firefox bookmarks to Firefox on another user account and i am not getting thumbnails! Both on bookmark's bar and inside bookmark browser :/

a few days ago, Firefox stopped playing sounds. Any sounds. not youtube, not on Facebook. Not even porn videos. nothing. i don't remember installing any new software and Chrome plays youtrube sounds just fine. I listen on headphones and when i unjack, i still can only hear Chrome's browser play sounds. It seems like its not my comp, its the browser itself and it's only happened recently. i have yet to uninstall the browser and re-install, but i think if i use the Mozilla backup program to save my bookmarks, it will save whatever setting is causing the problem as well and re-installing will get me nowhere. anyone have any clue? i'm sure it's something simple but i cant figure it out

My computer updated with no warning one night, and i lost all personalization and even everything stored in my firefox, the sign ins, passwords, bookmarks, all. is there a way for me to find all that was erased?

I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. I used Firefox Sync when I bought my new computer and it worked perfectly. This time, I had to reset my computer and forgot my password. Using my account associated email, I reset my password and my information was gone.

I am using firefox 120.0 version. I use OneDrive extensively, but now when I open a folder and type my info to search on. It no longer works. I have cleared cache. I have uninstalled/reinstalled. Power off/Power on my system. Confirmed I am using the latest version. The search on OneDrive works in Chrome, but I prefer using Firefox. Any other suggestions I can try?

I find that OneNote Web Clipper extension is not available for Firefox now. I'm sure it used to be. Why is it not available and is there a workaround to be able to use it still in FF? Windows 11.

i log in att/yahoo or gmail, email on the web browser as well your website right now using the latest firefox browser and the letters are kind of foggy, i will attach a screen shot for you. the problem doesn't happen when i use microsoft edge or chrome, can you please fix it? thank you, Liev

Why is this? I assume DNS but what is Firefox doing to redirect to the unsecured site that other browsers aren't?

Themes do not stay locked since several updates back. It is ridiculous that every time you open the browser you need to go to settings and get 'dark theme' back on, when it is the only theme many of us with visual problems can use. MANY people have complained about this (read your own reviews). FIX IT! It's doubtless a five minute job to put this back the way it was.

I opened my bookmarks today to find out that all my bookmarks are showing the same web address (Chevrolet.com). And when I went to Recovery, I only found the backup that Firefox did today with the single web address for all my bookmarks. Firefox was updated to version 120 on 11/21/2023.

Hello, from Terminal Servers, it is not possible to browse the Internet via FortiGate's explicit proxy from the Firefox browser, while there is no problem with Chrome or Edge. When the user tries to browse external sites, the proxy sends the error page "You need to authenticate to use this service". It seems that Firefox does not pass user authentication to FortiGate. The proxy authenticates users per session via Kerberos tickets.

I also performed the following settings to pass the Kerberos ticket to the proxy without success: https://people.redhat.com/mikeb/negotiate/

I also noticed that it is not possible to change the "network.negotiate-auth.allow-proxies" setting from "false" to "true." Is this my problem? Is it normal that it cannot be changed?
